
My First Q&A - Fitness, Nutrition and Training Tips - Caroline Girvan

-Do you eat anything else for sweets? I have such a sweet tooth, but I only eat things that are sweetened naturally with coconut sugar, agave, maple syrup, etc, no processed sugars (I actually had a weird experience where I woke up one day and now all processed sugar tastes like poison to me, but I have such a hard time cutting out sweets. Do you have any suggestions?
-What is your take on having protein within a certain time frame after workouts? Does it always have to be 20-60 minutes after the workout?
-How much cardio would you say you do per week?
-In general, the closest my body ever looked to yours was in 2016. I was eating under 1000 calories per day Mon-Thurs and whatever I wanted Fri-Sun, and exercising 4-5 hours per day (some of that was barre/yoga. But I simply can't keep up with that anymore and I'm not sure what changes to make specifically to have my body back to that shape again. Any tips would be greatly appreciated!

Hi Caroline, I-m from India. I-ve been training with you for the past 4-5 months and my body has changed so much in this time. I-ve never been able to do too much weight training specially on my own. But this lockdown forced me to train without a trainer. And your videos have actually helped me more than ever before! I can feel that I-m stronger and can see the changes! And yes I had a weak neck too, it has gotten stronger n now.

Love your videos. You have helped me tremendously. When I first started I could not exercise for 5 mins. I could not lift a single 1 lb weight. I was recovering from double cancer at age 54 (surgery and 5 months of chemo/radiation) I had lost 85 lbs and was skin and bones. I now regularly use 10 to 12 lb weights. I have one suggestion in that I hope you do a shoulder friendly workout. There really isn't anything out there. I have shoulder impingement. Thanks

I just started to do your workouts (which i love btw) and then was curious on what your character was like. I am so happy to find out that you are genuine and tell the truth of what it is.
My favorite part of this video was about nutrition. I was happy to hear that we have the same exact diet! ha! Looks like I was doing it right all along. I don't think I could have be focused enought to count calories -

Caroline is it okay to modify a few of your workouts as I have a L4-L5-S1 spine compression. The exercises that involve bowing low in the front scares me as I am advised by my physician not to do any front bending exercises. so instead of RDL can I replace it with normal lunges or squats?

very nice video. Just a question, I am 37, I train hard on a daily basis and eat lot of vegetables, lot of proteins and low carb. I like to drink a glass of wine once a day. Do you think it can compromise my performance?
