Day 5 in the EPIC Program and it-s a full body hiit workout session! This high intensity workout requires only a mat, it is suitable for intermediates and advanced as you simply work through each 40 seconds at the intensity and pace that really challenges you! These 30 minutes will test you mentally and physically! This workout will require strength, balance, body co-ordination, but mostly sheer determination to keep going when you just want to stop. There is a lot of focus on the lower body so the legs definitely have to work hard! The timer is for 40 seconds of work and 20 seconds rest get ready for the next exercise. You should need this rest period! Please ensure you warm up for at least 5 minutes prior to beginning. (See link below for my new warm up routine) This is definitely a tough one! You can do it!

Week 1 finished! Did I do all the exercises perfectly? No. Did I take many breaks in between? Absolutely! But I managed to finish it, which is the most important.
Side note: I have noticed in almost every day that I struggle in the beginning until around 30%, then I am kind of fighting it and then around 60% I have a sudden burst of energy that carries me to the end. I guess this is kudos to Caroline's structure!

I started these videos about a month ago and was working sporadically through the EPIC Beginner series, and after completing this one today realized that I did Day 5 in the wrong EPIC series - I survived, but relieved to know that this really wasn't the next step as a beginner: -.

This was intense I hurt my arm on day 4 I think the full body day. I'm still trying to push through but as I do anything that involves my left shoulder I hear popping and cracking maybe I need to warmup more. All in all thank you!

I took four breaks, multiple variations- but I did it. It-s been years since I-ve actively gone to the gym and haven-t done stuff even close to this since I was 17 and I-m 23 so it was tough but hopefully by epic 2 I-m better

every day after a workout i say -that was the hardest workout of my life- and everyday I revise myself -no. THAT was the hardest-. THIS was DEFINITELY the hardest (so far. Can't wait for week2!

Caroline: it is better to do 3 regular push-ups than many knee push-ups
Me: can barely do 3 knee push-ups
By the time I get done this series, my goal is to be able to do real push-ups, though!

That song during glute bridge jumps 'I want to feel alive'. I wondered how many of us were still alive till then --. hardest 30 minutes ever even though I couldn't do all of it -

After 3 days off and eating unhealthy with my sister visiting, I did this workout this morning. So glad I completed it, despite feeling sluggish and tired, roll on tomorrow!

I used to be a competitive athlete, but now pushing 300 lb. My brain thinks this looks so do-able. Not easy but DO-ABLE. And my body just CAN'T -- It's so depressing

This one goes by fast! I like that we get that interval of straight leg marches in the middle of the workout. These workouts are put together so well. Thank you!
