Day 6 in the EPIC Program and we are hitting our arms and abs! The triceps and biceps will be tested with isolating exercises using a pair of dumbbells. The dumbbells I am using are 8kg (17. 5lbs) each for your reference. You will also need a mat. This workout is approximately 40 minutes. We start with 5 biceps movements then 5 tricep movements (each exercise is repeated twice) all for 40 seconds each with 20 seconds rest. We then move to core and abs where each of the 10 exercises are performed for a full 1 minute and then straight onto the next! However please remember the timer is only a guide so no need to rush to begin. just when you ready! We then finish with one per set of the original arm isolation exercises and 40 seconds burnout! Please ensure you warm up for at least 5 minutes prior to beginning. If you do these movements with as best form as possible, it will be more difficult! And that-s the aim! So keep elbows in for curls!

After becoming totally burned out with my existing weight workout, I began looking for other options and discovered Caroline's Epic I Program. I have become completely re-energized! Although I am only on Day 6, I am 100% committed to completing the program and moving onto EPIC II and EPIC III. Her videos are so professionally produced with countdown timers, status bar, and what's next inset. Plus, she expertly explains and shows you how to get to most from each workout and provides great music without talking throughout the entire video. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU! You are incredible!

I love when you repeat exercises from previous workouts, because I can tell that I am getting stronger as doing the same exercise feels less challenging. I still have to modify a couple exercises here and there, but I have to do it less and less as the workouts progress, and I am only on day 6. Thank you so much for this workout plan, I feel amazing every time I finish one of these.

Holy shit, I thought this was easy because it was the first workout in the program where I didn't end up completely drenched in sweat and needing to take extra breaks, but as I tried to have a protein shake after I can hardly lift it to my lips because my arms are shaking so much! Been loving the program so far, you are an incredible woman.

Hey Carolyn, thanks for the workout! I have question around how you do your videos. For study we have to do a workout video, we get critiqued etc. I like how you have a timer come up and shows the next exercise that-s coming up. How do you do that? Or any websites that could help would be great! Thank you.

I enjoyed this very much. Unfortunately, I had too much happening these last few days and I=it took 5 days for me to do Epic 6 after Epic 5 but I have done it so that is that. This week has to be better and should manage more workouts: ) Thank you!

I've been working out regularly. My lower body is quite strong but my upper body is a MESS, especially my biceps. Why do my arms get stuck during bicep curls? What do I do to avoid it? My left arm is fine but my right arm troubles me a lot.

Revisiting Epic 1. Used 8kg each. Had to take a few more breaks than Caroline but still got enough reps in and concentrated more on my form while I have some down time. Loved this work out. The abs in the middle def were not a break!

The fact that I-ve never been able to do side planks, yet can now do them rotating and holding a dumbbell is simply amazing. It took 3 rounds of epic beginner and week one of epic I to get here but I-m grateful for the growth!

After this video, I'm almost tempted to keep my bird arms. that was brutal but awesome. Now, off to the vet where I have to carry my 50lb German Shepherd Puppy to get her last parvo shot. Send prayers.

My arms were noodles by the time I was done. It took me several days to recover! My arms were so sore! I challenged myself to lift a little heavier and it sure kicked my butt!
