Day 1 in the EPIC Heat Program! Let-s get started! Uncomplicated complexes for this leg day! Complexes on the legs are a sure fire way to light up your entire lower body! The quads, hamstrings, glutes, core and let-s not forget the forearms due to holding those dumbbells will be challenged! If you are new to complexes, basically for the duration of the complex you aim to complete as many solid, great form reps of the exercises for the amount of reps as on screen. So in this case all of the complexes are 3 minutes in total. The first complex is 10 reps of high squats. Once you complete the 10 reps, you move into 10 reps of 1/2 squats, followed then by the 3rd exercise which is squat jumps. You then return to the first exercise and carry on for the total of 3 minutes! All you will need for this leg session is a pair of dumbbells and your mat for cool down! The dumbbells I am using are 12. 5kg each. HIGH SQUATS 1/2 REPS SQUAT JUMPS (bodyweight) STATIC LUNGE CURTSEY LUNGE LUNGE TO CURTSEY (bodyweight) STATIC LUNGE CURTSEY LUNGE LUNGE TO CURTSEY (bodyweight) STAGGERED RDL STAGGERED SQUAT STAGGERED RDL TO SQUAT STAGGERED RDL STAGGERED SQUAT STAGGERED RDL TO SQUAT CLOSE SQUAT CLOSE 1/2 REPS SQUAT ROCKS (bodyweight) SUMO SQUATS RDL SUMO TO RDL (bodyweight) ALT REAR LUNGES BODYWEIGHT LUNGES BODYWEIGHT LUNGE JUMPS The finisher sets are as follows; SQUAT WALK SQUATS SQUAT PULSES SQUAT WALK SQUAT PULSES SQUATS Be proud of your work! Complexes are very demanding and if you find you are struggling, then you are doing it correct! - All of the workouts are meant to challenge you both mentally and physically but without pressure! Pause when you need to and have fun! You are doing it! Day One and hopefully you look forward to so many more sessions full of variety! Have fun!

Oh my gosh! That was freaking intense! Visiting this for the first time just after having completed the Iron Series! I joined Caroline and you guys on EPIC III. I am so glad I discovered you, Caroline! I feel really blessed - that we are all really blessed to be part of your community! Thank you for all that you do for us! I've never enjoyed working out this much until I stumbled upon this amazing community and your challenging, wholly satisfying workouts! I also want to take a moment to appreciate what a huge contribution you have made - I think I can speak on behalf of everyone working out with you - not just to our physical health, but our mental and spiritual health, as well. Since working out with you, I've begun to believe in myself more, that change is possible and that I am in control of my mindset and my life. Much love and gratitude.

It's been roughly 5 months since I finished EPIC II and I couldn't quite figure out why I had put this off for as long as I had.
I dropped my weight and it still nearly killed me to finish this one, but it was pretty worth it.
I had missed training like this and being so driven to do each workout. This time around, I want to stick to 5 workouts a week again and build up my fitness again.
Thanks so much for all of your efforts, Caroline! I know I'm probably doing this one on my own, but just knowing how many members of the community have completed it with you keep me smiling through it.
Much love from South Africa

I just completed this again a year later. I thought perhaps it would be a bit easier since I have done all of Caroline's programs and just completed Iron. It was just as much of a challenge! Just goes to show how wonderfully thought out and programmed Caroline's workouts are. Thanks for continually kicking my butt!

I've forgotten the intensity of Heat! This was tough. I did increase the weight on the RDLs and Sumos thanks to my increased strength as a result of Caroline's E3 and Endgame! I will continue Heat until the next program is dropped. Thanks Caroline for each of your programs. They are stellar!

I have been a runner for 10 years, I cycle lift weights and also do yoga, but NOTHING prepared me for this. It was brutal but in the most awesome way. I have tried a lot of people on YT but no one like Caroline. Love how motivated she keeps me. DAY 1 of EPIC HEAT!

3 May 2022 - 1st Day of Heat! I took long breaks here and there but was able to complete it! I did alternatives here and there but I feel more confident and I think I should be using more that 4lbs dumbbells -
