Bicep workout and back workout with dumbbells! We will be doing rows, pulls, curls and pushes to strengthen our back and arms. You will need a mat and a pair of dumbbells. A chair is optional. The dumbbells I am using for your reference are 15kg x 2 & 8kg x2. The timer will be on for most of the movements 45 seconds, 15 seconds rest. However a couple of movements will be 40 seconds and 20 seconds rest. Slow and controlled for this one! Your biceps, lats, rhomboidal, posterior shoulder, spinal erectors and even the glutes and hamstrings due to stabilisation are working! ROW TO CURL HANDS OFF PUSH UP Really focus on that mind muscle connection, lift the rows with the back muscles by drawing the elbow up. Keep flat back, chest open, look down and slightly infront. Remember as always, those elbows during the curls! - even if it means dropping the dumbbells for a break moment! Let-s get week 8 started!

The good thing about doing this in hindsight is, that Im doing this workout now, after two intense days with a sick (fever) 13 months old. The day before yesterday I had a hap because I was so exhasted and shaking form tiredness. Yesterday I tried to sleep but couldnt because of adrenaline. Today Im back. Son is fine again, but now im shattered. Lets go: D

doing this workout series pushed me to work hard T_T Finishing each videos is such a fulfillment. I already see some muscle definition at present. And I can do push-ups properly coz I can't do it before (although I can just do some. I see myself progressing and getting stronger. Thank you caroline for giving us this awesome series!

That moment when, at the end of the workout, I take my headband off and when I squash it I get 100 ml of sweat in a cup. - Not to mention my t-shirts (the one from 0 to 50% and the one from 50% to the end) and my towel are all dripping wet.

I'm really glad I found your workouts last year. It rekindled my love for using dumbbells. Absolutely love anything that includes weights. And slowly seeing the definition and power develop over time.

That was a fun workout and it was tough. When the music kicked up for the finisher, I thought ok, we can do this. But then after the finisher came the burnout, I had to get my mind around that one!

One year later. the dumbbells I used are more than double my initial ones! Remarkable progress, super fun workout! Loved it. Thanks, Caroline!

BTW, I find it hard to tell which dumbbell weight she is using in each positions.

Your variations are epic! Didn-t realize there was so much one could do with 1 pair of dumb bells and a mat at home. I-m inspired.
