Day 37 of EPIC II and all you will need for this posterior chain workout targeting the back, hamstring and glutes is a pair of dumbbells and something to lean against for bent over rows. The dumbbells I am using for your reference are 15kg each and a heavier dumbbell of 25kg. Optional is a glute band to increase resistance and intensity. Also a chair (soft at edge or place towel on edge for comfort) or a bench for hip thrusts however you can perform bridges on the mat as alternative! What is this? In this hot weather I use 10, 20, 25! Omg, I am so tired! I have pair 10 hex and pair 5 hex and convert it by 20 and 25 by using our old latex band. I thought I can use 25lbs in hip thrust but I can't lift my body with it I have to work on it. This was hard but I did my very best here! I thought I can't do this but I even tried heavy and I don't know how much body pain I'll suffer tomorrow. I am showering in sweat! This one is a good one! Never know RDLs could really give a lower back pain when you go heavier. Thank you Caroline! -

Every time I do one of these workouts I am reminded of how far we've come and how much more room for growth there is. I enjoyed this but it was quite challenging. I played around with weights and resistance bands and I definitely took longer breaks where needed, but I'm glad we journeyed through this one together today, Caroline.
As always, thank you for all of your hard work and efforts - it makes our time together so meaningful!
Hope you and your loved ones are staying safe and strong!
Much love from South Africa

This was the first workout after taking a two week break and it was just what I needed - not too intense but a great way to challenge myself and look for ways to improve for next time. The first 10 minutes with the glute work had me crying on the inside but I kept reminding myself what Caroline said a few videos back: just get through the first 5 or 10 minutes and the rest of the workout will fly by! Thank you Caroline!

I'm sure I wasn't the only one to yell -WHAT- once they realized the hip thrust duration and rest times after the first set. Glad I decided to put an extra towel behind me before I started haha. Thank you.

When I started your videos I began with 10lbs graduating into 15lbs. Realizing I-m becoming stronger is the best motivation for me. Thank You very much.

Tough, but loved this workout. no squats (old creaking knees, no lifting weights from shoulders (scar tissue from two frozen shoulders. More like this please!

Day 3 of Calm before the storm. Used a little lighter band for this time around but still felt the burn. Added on the 20 minute jumping jack cardio suggestion.
