TEMPO LEG DAY- we will turn up the heat in this workout! Every muscle in the lower body will be worked today! Slow pace, full range of motion and a focus on perfect form! Time under tension is high today with slow tempo, holds and pausing included today! The dumbbells I am using for your reference are 15kg each! Depending on the weight you have access to, also your energy levels you may wish to use 2 dumbbells where I use x1! Or vice versus, use 1 dumbbell when I use 2! The timer will be on for a majority of work 40 seconds with 20 seconds rest! During the CALVES portion, there will be holds performed within the 20 second rest period! HEEL ELEVATED SQUAT (slow eccentric) HEEL ELEVATED SQUAT (slow concentric) LUNGES (pause at bottom) LUNGES (slow eccentric) RDLs (slow eccentric) RDLs (pause at bottom) CALVES SEQUENCE! (40/20/40/20/40/20-) X1 LEG - HOLD - FULL RANGE - HOLD! OPPOSITE - HOLD - FULL RANGE - HOLD! BOTH CALVES FULL RANGE - HOLD - FULL RANGE! HEEL ELEVATED SQUAT (pause at bottom) HEEL ELEVATED SQUAT (hold 1/2 way point) FORWARD LEAN LUNGE (slow eccentric) FORWARD LEAN LUNGE (hold, step on beep! I-m saving my workout for 5: 30 am. I love your workout routines. I used to be a Nasm certified trainer. I-m 62 now but still enjoy working out keeping up with my body. Love the way you combine all your workouts. I started in February and have improved and have gotten stronger. I-m an avid bike rider. I noticed a big difference the last time i rode 25mi.

I may or may not have cursed at you during the calf and Bulgarian portion ---. Naw I-m playing about that but this was seriously the most creative and fun leg workout I-ve EVER done. It-s not a surprise why I train with you a few times a week! You-re a fitness genius!

The first part went by pretty smoothly - liked the kick up in intensity at the end! Loved seeing the calf raises in here! And that burner was definitely one of the toughest I've done, for sure!

I felt the Tempo in every move. The finisher was totally crazy! Thank you, Caroline! Loved this workout. Legs will tell me tomorrow to walk at a certain TEMPO!

Thanks Caroline. Finally got round to catching up with this workout. Forearms nearly gave out on me using the 15kgs but I'm proud of getting through it today!

Haven't done a leg workout in roughly a year (health issues) and this was so much fun, it was nice to start with a tough leg workout.

Honestly, this is is one of the most difficult lower body workout I ever made. My legs are burning and shaking, but I feel so good!
