EPIC LEG DAY - Dumbbell Leg Workout - EPIC III Program Day 1 - Caroline Girvan

EPIC LEG DAY let-s go! It-s all in today-s session! The quads! Hamstrings! Glutes! 40 minutes of tension on the lower body! For this leg session you will need a pair of dumbbells, your mat and a yoga block to elevated heels and feet however this is optional! The dumbbells I am using for your reference are 15kg each. I also use a lighter weight of x1 dumbbell at 8kg for the staple! The timer will be on throughout this entire workout for 40 seconds each exercise and 20 seconds rest! Every exercise will be performed for 2 sets, and even if it is unilateral exercises, it will be 2 sets per side! The staple exercise involves one set per side. I use a lighter weight for this movement but if you feel your lower back, pease drop to bodyweight only. I reduce to bodyweight only on the last sets of the staple. SWITCH SIDE! SWITCH SIDE! LATERAL LUNGES LATERAL LUNGES STAPLE: KNEELING TO SQUAT (ONE SIDE) SWITCH SIDE! RDL (x 2 DUMBBELLS) RDL (x 2 DUMBBELLS) 1/2 REP RDLS (x 1 DUMBBELL) 1/2 REP RDLS (x 1 DUMBBELL) STAPLE: KNEELING TO SQUAT (ONE SIDE) SWITCH SIDE! X5 PULSE GOBLET SQUATS TO STAND X5 PULSE GOBLET SQUATS TO STAND BODYWEIGHT ELEVATE REAR LUNGE SWITCH SIDE! SWITCH SIDE! SWITCH SIDE! STAPLE: BODYWEIGHT! KNEELING TO SQUAT (ONE SIDE) SWITCH SIDE! I know Caroline's workout would be a challenge but oh boy! Sadly I could only do half of the workout, even though I took more rest and slowed the pace --
Ended up having to stop at 50% but I really wanted to complete it so in the evening I did the other 50%. I know it's not supposed to be done that way but wow. So hats off to all of you who manage to complete it.
Hopefully Day 2 I will be able to do the full workout at one time -

Love Fitness. Grateful to my friend who told me about this program. My lower body was on FUUUUIIIRREEE! LOL! Thank you Caroline. Day 1 in love. 300 Calories burned. Can't wait for Day 2 tomorrow. WOO HOO. I love there's just music and no talking. Music is a big motivator for me, after all music is life. Thanks again Caroline.

i just finished Epic Endgame, and today i am starting Epic ---. It seems out of order to go back and do this program after I just finished Endgame, but I love working out with Caroline everyday! This first day was such a good burn and went by quick! We got this!

I have been doing your exercises for nearly 2 years, 5 times a week. This was by far, the hardest lower body exercise but I nearly pulled through to the very end, until i fell over backwards and landed like a bug attempting the very last kneel to squat.

Lol, I took 9 days off to recoup from Epic II. A lot of active recovery, hiking and walking. Shoo, this kicked my butt. Sweating is not what I would call what I'm doing at the moment. Lol, maybe my whole body is crying. Lol, I love it though.

Great start to EPIC 3! Loving the heavier weights and slower motions. That finisher was a burner. Can tell a major difference between when I started and now. Less surviving, more thriving during these workouts. Feeling epic and grateful.

back here doing epic 3, my first caroline program. i have now completed epic 3, epic endgame & iron series. this leg day was killer & reminds me of why i fell in love with carolines workouts. :)

Wow! This was my first ever Epic workout as suggested by a friend. My legs are 100% destroyed! In the best way possible. That was the push I really needed! Thanks Caroline!

I-m so late ahaha but just wanted to give probs to this amazing woman. I-ve done epic 1, 2 and now onto 3-in that time I-ve grown from using 5lbs to 15lbs.

That was intense! I am so happy that we completed this workout I was hard but we managed to do it and today I switched from 7kg to 10kg!
