The glutes and hamstrings will be intensely activated, isolated and engaged throughout this workout through exercises such as hip thrusts, banded work, sumo squats and RDLs using variations on tempo throughout! A primarily slow paced session to allow for focus on that mind to muscle connection which is so important and has huge carry over to other training such as manipulation of lunges and squats to target the glutes even more! For this glute & hamstring focused session, you will need a pair of dumbbells or one heavier dumbbell, a chair/bench for hip thrusts and a glute band. I will also use a towel when placing dumbbell on my hips. The dumbbell I am using throughout is 25kg. You can absolutely use 2 dumbbells, a kettlebell or barbell! The timer will be on for a majority of the workout for 45 seconds each exercise with 15 seconds rest inbetween each exercise. There is a staple of bodyweight full single leg thrusts for 45 seconds straight into 15 seconds of half reps on the same side! We then immediately move to opposite side! The staple will appear only 3 times throughout this workout! SLOW ECCENTRIC (band only) PAUSE AT TOP (band only) SLOW LIFTING (band only) SLOW ECCENTRIC PAUSE AT TOP SLOW LIFTING 1/2 REPS! I guarantee if you really make every rep count you will feel the gluteal muscles and hamstrings working hard throughout! You will no dout be able to tell by my face during this workout just how intense it really was! But I did love every minute! -- Ready for the burn?

This workout was amazing. I love them all but leg and butt days are my favorite. I used to HATE working out at home. HATE. And refused to do it. But your programs have changed all that. I do them at home, on vacay and in hotel rooms. Wherever. And I so agree with the comments about the music. It-s motivating and at the same time puts you in a trance. Also, I just want to add that it-s so nice to see you take a break during complexes or just showing the exercise is hard even for you. It-s so real and makes me really feel like your with us! Thank you Caroline: )

Second time through this one, and I think I'm finally getting the hang of thrusts. Caroline is right. The mind/muscle connection comes in stronger and stronger. I'm so happy with how this went. I used 55lbs. for all thrusts by stacking a 40 and a 15. I used 2-30s for the rest for 60lbs. I kept up decently and felt the burn. :)

used my trusty 20kg sandbag plus 5kg dumbbell for Sumo used 12. 5kg each, had to stand up straight at times as felt pressure in the base of my back. Great workout, I am not a keen lover of glute work but I know it needs to be done. Thanks Caroline

I love lower body days but those are just too many hip thrusts - Wish there was some pilates style leg raises for glutes as well instead of all thrusts. The squats were the only workout I liked here

I dread hip thrusts especially one sided ones, but surprisingly i loved this workout! Really felt the burn on both my butt cheeks. I did an add on which was the 12x4 abs and im finished for the day.

I been exercising over a year at least 4 days a week non stop only your work out, simply you just do magic on my body. Thank you so much all you do.

No just no. Not this video I actually hated today. However I got through it. If I have to do another hip thrust ever again I'll lose my shit. Lol

honestly 20% of its Caroline-s workout and 80% of it is the supportive comment community -idk what I-d do without them AND our coach! xx

Today's staple and the finisher were so difficult. The burn and muscle fatigue were felt. Thank you for planning such a great workout.

Hey Caroline. My physio suggested I don't do any lunges due to my knee injuries. What do you suggest I do instead? Thank you
