Dynamic and isometric exercises combined within trisets to increase intensity but also challenges along the way to test you mentally and physically! A solid session to build muscle in the quads, hamstrings, glutes and hamstrings! For this complete lower body workout you will need a pair of dumbbells, your mat, a chair, a yoga block/thick book and a wall for some wall sits! Oh yesss! We upping the variety today! The dumbbells I am using throughout for your reference are 10kg each! The timer will be on for 30 seconds each exercise for the 3 exercises to form the triset! We then have 30 seconds rest inbetween! The first and the third exercise within each triset will be the same! HEEL ELEVATED SQUATS HOLD! FULL RANGE! BODYWEIGHT ONLY HOLD! FULL RANGE! HOLD! BULGARIAN LUNGE FULL RANGE! HOLD! FULL RANGE! Every muscle in my lower body was exhausted after this session! I LOVED it! Im ready for a good rest day! - I honestly feel so alive after this session! And proud- proud that I did my best and gave it my best shot! I made sure to breathe during the holds, relaxed into the depths and rejoiced every time the beeper went to mark another triset smashed!

Wow. that was pretty damn tough. I had to use 25s as I thought 20s would be too light. Maybe I should have went with 20s. I am recovering from a cold, but I nearly gave up 10 minutes in. LOL However, I stuck it out. Might not have been the best I could have done if I was feeling 100%, but I did it, and I'm happy. I feel my legs and rear, so I will take that as affirmation that something worthwhile happened.

My best advice for the holds. count to 3 slowly while inhaling slowly then count to 3 slowly while exhaling. Kind of like breathing during childbirth to relax and take yhe focus off the pain. Really helped me once I got the hang of that in this workout.

This was nearly impossible to do. So hard, so little rest -. I had to pause numerous times and felt really weak for not being able to finish it properly -. But I pushed through and I was glad once it was over -. Please never do this to us again ---

Done for the 2nd time! -
The holds girl! I was dreading but enjoying it at the same time--
Love those lunge holds
That bulgarian lunges and wall sits burned so much! And that finisher-

This workout was SO hard! I modified by swapping some of the hold-full-hold to full-hold-full and I still was drenched in sweat lmao (and this is coming from someone who doesn-t really sweat a lot)

After Mondays workout then this I really feel like you hate us. This was beyond hard. My muscles and feelings hurt now. This isn't a joke either. Please don't ever do this again

Really tough workout Caroline, especially the hold and I was not feeling it this morning at all. Kept giving up before the timer end but managed to push through.

I started these and i started with 10kgs. yeah why? it was very taxing with the good holds and I stopped. Oh dear! Will reattempt this with 6kg and 8kg.
