A full body workout involving a circuit format-but not as many reps as possible. This circuit will focus on how we perform each rep from the controlling of the dumbbell whilst lowering in particular, ensuring as best range of motion is performed and aiming for quality reps over the quantity. A slow pace workout that will promote muscle growth and actually really get that heart rate elevated too! The timer will be on throughout for 40 seconds of work per exercise, with 20 seconds rest inbetween! The dumbbells I am using for the first 5 exercises within the circuit are 2 x 17. 5kg. For the final 4 exercises, I am using 2 x 10kg each. The circuit is simply performed for 3 rounds! BENT OVER ROW STATIC LUNGE SWITCH SIDE! RDL CHEST PRESS PUSH PRESS HEEL ELEVATED SQUAT REAR STEP LUNGE (one side) SWITCH SIDE! FINISHER! 40/20/40/20 MAKER! ALTERNATING REAR LUNGE MAKER! ALTERNATING REAR LUNGE Oh yesss! This workout was absolute fire! A solid full body workout that will leave us ready for the weekend!

I am loving the Iron Series and the shorter workout time in this series seems to fly by before you know it you are finished. I did notice the increase in weight for dumbbells too, that was sneaky, luckily I have few weight combinations at home, if not I just double up to meet the challenge. Caroline you are the worlds best personal fitness trainer I really do not know what I would do without this, so thank you very much for your time, dedication and information you pass on to CG Community.

Caroline Girvan is by far the only one who got me hooked on to working out. I'm glad you released these 30 mins iron series. I am working as a food delivery rider now and i cycle almost 2-3 hrs in one shot almost everyday. These short series makes it easier for me to take time out to at least weight train a lil despite the long cardio shifts i need to work. Love it!

I am loving these workouts. I-m so glad I stumbled across you! I-m a bit of a beginner and have knee problems and have only just realised I-ve been wearing the wrong type of shoes and that-s why I-ve had my knee go out. I-m training bare foot at the moment. What shoes are you wearing in this video? Would also love more recommendations please! Thankyou!

I absolutely love your workouts! I am committing myself to doing the Iron series. I'm kind of new to weight training though. Is it safe to do a workout everyday? Do you advise against it? How many rest days should I take, if any? And when should I take the rest days? How many days should I workout in a row before resting?

Just when you think it is over, here comes the finisher! I did a t-bar row instead of the normal row because my dumbbells didn't go high enough. Cheating the shoulder press is a good idea, but I had to drop weights during the 3rd set. I definitely feel this one.

hey caroline what would you suggest for those at home who only have access to lighter weights, specifically between 8-10 pounds each? are the workouts useless to do or are they still effective? more reps or slower and less?

I just finished endgame and now starting this series. I was doing this workout and then that track at 25: 20 starts. I feel like it was tears of joy to realize how strong I've become since doing Caroline's programs!

Anyone following this series, don't skip the optional Add-on Workout (see the video description. AMAZING and they're usually 25min or less you'll never feel the time doing it. I'm so in love with the iron series:

I usually do CG's upper body or Hamstrings and Glutes workouts, first time doing a total body and it was Fire! Looking forward to doing more. Used 4kg and 7. 5kgs for this workout.

This was so much fun! Weight training circuits are always challenging for me, and thus was no exception. The sweat is UNREAL. THANK YOU CAROLINE!
