Ill show you exactly how often to train a muscle to do so. In fact, as youll see, choosing the right frequency to strain each muscle per week can potentially enhance your muscle growth by 3. 1% - which to put in perspective, can equate to almost an extra lb of muscle gained by a beginner in their first year of lifting. So long story short take training frequency seriously and ensure youre not selling yourself short with your current routine! Dont forget to follow me on Instagram and

Just du 4 workouts per weak wich are divided into super sets of push pull and legs core, that way you can train 4 times a week while training each muscle 2 times, or even 3 if you wish, wich I wouldnt recommend, first of all there should always be room for cardio as its the most healthy and most fatburning trainin you can do, and Second of all, if you really train harder than last time on every workout, 3 times on each muscle per weak might not give enough room for recovery nor will most people be able to mentally keep up with a training this destructive. Do stick to 1 or 2 times and have a cardio day at least once per weak

Thank you. I am of the opinion that you may have missed an important sentence in the discussion. While meta-analysis was not possible on this topic, the combined evidence does not support that manipulations in training session frequency promote differential hypertrophic responses when groups are matched for weekly training volume with an equivalent frequency of training per muscle group. SUMMARY: its still about volume. Training frequency is just another way to manipulate training volume.

Thank you, this actually answered my question. I was a little worried at the start with the death by powerpoint opening of One of the most yada yada but then you whipped out the Fire Truth of statistics and academic papers and it was good. I'm a shift worker and I only have 30 minutes to work out in the morning, so I was trying to come with a training regime that: A) I could bang out quickly, B) sustainably maintain long-term, and C) consistently increase resistance.

completely ignore the fact of who is actually in the training study. for stronger athletes, you're experiencing neurological damage at a much higher level, so training more often is not necessarily better, especially training for power. it completely matters who was in the study. look at Julius Maddox, best bencher ever, trains minimal frequency per week, it's such a joke what these studies claim, when they control their subjects and simply do not factor in top lifters.
reply

This is misleading. All these studies do not take into account volume and intensity. The more volume or intensity requires more rest. Professional bodybuilders have this figured out. Its not hard. And Steroids would make you recover faster, so the excuse that you would grow regardless is false. 4-5 days rest when doing HIT workouts is best.

It's important to remember that even though you might only isolate your biceps once a week, every single pulling exercise you do whether inside the gym or outside is also a bicep exercise.
e. g. Biceps on monday but back and traps on thursday would essentially be 2 bicep workouts a week.

Seriously. By training more days in a week usually mean you can train at a higher volume. The research equated volume of two training days and four training days in a week. It just doesn't reflect the benefit of training more than days in a week.

Today is my Chest Day. If i trained my chest in the morning + in the evening on the same day, is it means i trained each muscle 2x a week? Can someone explain to me? Especially gym bro, please answer me. Beginner here

I am 59. I do biceps and back every Wed and Sat. I really notice on Saturday I do have the strength I do when resting 3 days. If I rest 3 days all the time. I will not get the twice a week. So does age make a difference?
reply

So, in the part when he said 2x per week is better, does that mean a full body workout, or just one muscle? I train about 4-5 days a week focusing on a specific muscle each day, is that ideal based on the studies or.
