Do You Have to Lift Heavy to Build Muscle? mark: For me, I lift heavy on certain exercises like squat, bench press, and deadlift you have to keep those core exercises heavy and continue to use Progressive overload--that will help you build muscle as far as isolation movements and other movements you can use higher reps with lighter-weight but even in the medium core exercises like barbell row you kind of want to go moderately heavy.

Bro please respond. this is my problem. What do i do when im moving more weight on bench press but i dont feel my pecs working. do i lower the weight or keep going. or a shoulder gets fatigued early in my workout

thanks for the info. was looking at this cause I caught a disc herniation so I'm not lifting heavy for now, so I'm trying to work around my injury
