Alright let's go over the best leg workout for your PPL Split that will lead to some serious growth! So the biggest takeaway from this video is that you can always be pushing yourself harder. Especially during a leg workout and it ins't about the weight you move, it's about your ability to stimulate that muscle and push it BEYOND failure. When you're hitting everything from Quads, Hamstrings, Glutes and Calves in one day then you know it's going to be a rough one! SSETS/REPS: Static Lunges: 4 Sets / 20 Reps Each Leg Step Ups: 4 Sets / 20 Reps Each Leg Low Bar Squat (Stay at the bottom): 3 Sets / 30 Reps Walking Lunges (Use same weight as the low bar squats): 3 Sets / Failure Dumbbell Stiffs (Let those dumbbells drift to increase the stretch): 4 Sets / 15-20 Single Leg Calf Raise on Plate (4 way): 4 Sets / 15 Reps of each angle

He-s right if you want big legs you have to kill them with heavy squats and heavy lunges, don-t need leg lifts or machines also stiff legged deadlifts step ups are awesome as a final exercise and for me sprints work great as a final finisher
These will kill your legs but they will grow you will not be able to take a dump without having help getting on and off toilet but your legs will blow up
I just did 100 reps squats with moderate weight last night just to shock the legs that will kill legs anyway good luck

Jokes on you I'm working out at home so I don't have to go anywhere after I'm halfway done.
EDIT: okay so yeah I tried this, as someone that hasn't done much in around 10 years now, it kicked my ass. There was no way I was making it through the whole thing or even half of it. This is no joke even with body weight.

Can't wait to get back to good leg days! Crashed the dirt bike and tore a ton of shit in my knee, 3 months and I still can't bend it enough to do a proper squat, and even 15 lbs on a hamstring curl machine are pure torture. We'll get there, making small gains every day.

I've been training with beach body workouts for years. just hitting play and following along. wasting time doing the wrong exercises the wrong way, and achieving mediocre results to match. you on the other hand are a true pro. keep up the great work. cheers

Just did Ryan-s 30 day leg work out. Have some time to kill, sitting in the gym because I can-t walk to my truck. F#&k, f#&k, puck --. aawww that-s better. ( that-s not a typo, puck is what comes out when you puke while your saying f#&k)

I did this today for the first time. It was pretty hard! After squats, I had nothing left and couldn-t do any lunges. Took me a total of 40 minutes. Had to beat my ego into submission just to do the insane rep ranges! Nice change of pace

This workout tore me up, but it-s a bit quad dominant and for an athlete, I added dumbbell hip thrusts with a band to superset with low squats. I kept the band on during squats to activate the glutes as well. Enjoy!

So, it turns out my leg days up until now have been total shite. Just tried this and even though I reduced some of them to 3 sets just to make sure I don't shit myself, I'm still not walking right for a while
