How To Fix Your Posture & Grow A BIGGER CHEST (THIS WORKS)

Alright today we-re going over exactly how to fix your posture which will ultimately build you a bigger chest! As someone who suffered from horrible posture in the past I became an expert at trying every stretch and exercise I could to find what would help. Turns out there are only a few that make a dramatic difference if you are an overly muscular human being. I cover my favorite movement to help increase thoracic mobility, an advanced chin tuck method, an exercises that really engages that serratus anterior and the -bowtie- band I use that has continued to improve my posture. All of this will help pull your shoulders back and make sure your chest is the muscle that-s actually working when you-re trying to train it

Training chest in isolation as always been problematic for me, yes it does grow but it grows unbelievably faster compared to everything else.
Don't want that scooby chest brah.
I just wanted to mention that I have had amazing success with training every upperbody muscle group in isolation. The hypertrophy rate is very fast (I do 3 sets till failure a session and repeat when recovered, usually somewhere between 48-72 hours. What is most rewarding is the extreme pressing and pulling strength I am getting.
Basically everyday is 100 push ups and 50 pull ups with violently explosive concentric (starting off I was doing 4 pull ups before failure so it was 10 pull ups a day) and that is still helping my strength as my concentric speed is increasing (I can stand up straight with no body english with one push up.
But for the last 3 months I have also been doing these following isolation exercises.
Holding the travel bag straight out with straight arm while squizing my plans together and pressing that way while standing. That's for pec and front delt.
Bicep curls strict. Lateral raises. Rear delt raises. Lat raises (basically get to the one arm dumbbell row position and keeping your straight arm close to your body you raise that hand straight up behind your back until you are at 90 degree angle and bring it back down slow.
Lying tricep extension.
Everything is done with a travel bag with sand in it.
Everything is growing. Fast.
I also do 400 bodyweight squats a day. Goal is 200 in a row. If I can do that with my ever increasing bodyweight (surplus eating) then my legs will be huge too.
This has been my training program for the last 3-4 months. Gaining muscle like crazy. I work between 10-30 rep range. Once my 10 rep max becomes 30 rep max I add weight/sand.

I picked up a Rogue Bowtie but notice it; s pretty damn snug. which I can understand when first starting to use it (thinking it would ease up a bit after regular use) but notice my arms don't rest right at my sides when standing and kinda get the circulation cut off (especially when walking. though not painful and still manageable. is this a normal thing or do you recommend going a size up?

I had a complex brachial plexus injury years ago (both sides. I lost the function of the long thoracic nerve that goes to the serratus anterior (both sides. I was left with winged scapula (both sides. A non-functioning serratus a will destroy your shoulders over time. Great video and exercises. Knowing what was goin' on didn't help. I used to an M. D. This find is pure gold. Thanks.

To add to this posture, i found that just laying on a yoga mat on the ground with hands behind the head like that for 30 mins and tucking my shoulders (pinching them together with the ground keeping them flat) really gives me that stretch in the chest and actively keeping my back muscles tight seems to get them to fire properly. Hope this helps others with this issue

Man, have been watching your stuff for a year now, from when I started working out with weights. Results have been amazing, and can only thank you for the exercises and tips. Also, would totally appreciate if you could make a video with tips on shoulder recovery, since you always come up with interesting different solutions. Keep it up! -

Ryan best Gym coach I have ever had. So great seeing your sub increase to over 850, 000 well deserved. I did not notice your hair thinning. I liked the old you. Some guys can pull the bald thing off. You are not one of them. Just being honest brother. Always look forward to a new Ryan Humiston video with or without hair.

I have curved dick syndrome, the worse part is i have more or less perfect mobility in all the problem areas and im tight in none of the places. I guess from years of CDS my body has just gotten used to staying in that position, i would use one of those back support things if they didnt cut off damn circulation

I-ve struggled for a long time to build my chest and have tried a ton of different exercises and working on my lifting firm. To no avail. My daily posture blows and I never fully realized how it was holding me back. I have huge knots around my scapula and and I realize now why. Thank you for you video sincerely.

Super useful. Much appreciated!
Similar to the exercises my physio gave me, which I'd all but forgotten. Thanks for the refresher, I'm gonna get back on those posture correcting exercises. They really make a difference and I've been suffering at a computer recently.
Keep up the good work-
