Wanted to share this, maybe will work for someone else, been training my fore arms with similar exercises but never felt much, during lockdown I workout at home with a bar for pull-up and some trx cable, so I had to slow down the speed of execution in order to feel some kind of stress on my muscle, well the fore arms were killing me, especially during pull-up slow execution and pause on top and middle, felt like I had two dogs constantly biting my fore arms for weeks.

Great exercise for forearms is to take a leaf out of an armwrestler's book - wrap a short towel around a dumbbell or kettlebell and grab each end and curl it with any or all grips i. e pronated, neutral, supinated, and with a lighter weight you can hold both ends in one hand and curl single arm, amazing finisher or indeed your main heavy exercise

Best one I've ever found is,
Saw a broom stick in half, Drill a hole in the middle, then thread a rope through tie a weight in the end and just hold at arms length and winder the weight up and down the stick, your arms will burn like crazy, simple old school method.

Size but no function, these exercises are bad. If you really want strong big forearms, go for exercises such as hammer curls, pullups, anything with wide grip or use fat gripz, dont use straps on deadlifts, power cleans, and generally armwrestling exercises.

My favorite forearm exercise is holding a weighted straight bar while standing then leaning forward and letting it hang straight down. Twist it forward for 30sec then backwards for 30sec (or more if you're a beast) It absolutely destroys you!

Most people that do farmers carry will say that it works more traps and back, but they do it with two weights. Try it with by only carrying one weight in one hand and tell me how your forearms feel. Also good for obliques.

Great video Ryan. I believe in high reps/high volume for smaller muscle groups. I've been using a wrist roller these past few years--4 down-4 up-drop the weight by 40% and do it again. Thanks for the info.

I think I know why my biceps do not grow: they never fatigue. No matter what weight I use, 15, 20, or 20 pounds, my forearms fatigue (feel the burn) and not my biceps. What am I doing wrong?

Done right, you will not be looking around during a set of anything let alone forearms. The pump is brutal for me, sometimes have to rest 3 minutes just to grab a bar again.
