Stretches For Every Day Zuzka Light sport: Zuzka, I love yoga! And I love your yoga too. If you want to add a new super simple and powerful stretch, try to sit on your knees with the toes not tucked in. Put the hands on the floor behind your back and lean backwards. Then on elbows. then lie down completely. This is a SUPER stretch in the opposite direction of what you have here so far, so you might love adding it to your routine! I am sorry, I don't know its English name, I saw it in a yoga video in Bulgarian.

Someone asked why does holding a stretch longer yield better results. Well according to gymnastic trainers, when you stretch your muscle initially will resist then after 60 seconds it will begin to give way and relax. I have tried this and find that's it is true and the longer the more the muscle contracts then releases even more. You can feel this when you're doing this kind of stretching. Just thought is weigh in on the stretch discussion. :)

Zuzka, great things you've showed and advised, but my boner makes it hard to train while watching this video. :) Anyway you're motivating me a lot, so let us guys know when you do the splits. Will try to catch up with you.

great examples and explanations. Holding stretch for more than 30 seconds is truly important to make flexibility increases. Hanging bar is great home item for everyone of all levels,

Zuzka! I have verrrry bad hip flexors! Many stretches I do feel good then I go to pull my legs in, OUCH! Do you have best hip flexor stretches for everyday?

I have been incorporating a bend over stretch through-out my day for a while now, and it really does make me feel immediately better. Great tip!
