A tip for pushups: when doing them as an exercise, use your muscles to control yourself on the way down as well and not just to push up. It gives a far greater burn. However, when doing a challenge or test involving pushups, let your bodyweight basically fall on the down portion and just push back up. It makes a big difference. The same principle can be applied to sit-ups and several other exercises where it is safe to do so and you're not loaded up with extra weights that need control throughout.

I'd love to see a Thomas Jane Punisher workout. His physique in the film was my biggest inspiration to start lifting cuz he has a buff yet balanced look.
