Cori - The internet seems to frown upon overly bent legs (while the bell is under and behind) when performing a kettle bell swing (not referring to your creative -squat rockets- when the squat occurs with the bell out front. Any concern about dropping down into a squat and then driving hips up and forward and the bell up and out? Traditional minimal knee bend swing seems to work the hams the best, and glutes like a deadlift. More bend in the knees takes some of the hams out of the exercise, working the quads more. Neutral spine for both.

-By functional I mean you can comfortably swing or carry it --bestgym. equipment-- around as one would expect of a kettlebell weight. By versatile I mean the protective coating does not prevent attaching magnetic micro-plates to increase the weight, so, for example, a 35 pound kettlebell can be increased by up to 5 pounds in weight or possibly a bit more by attaching magnetic micro-plates. -

Your form on the swing didn-t seem right to me. Would you say your style is more of a kettlebell sports style as opposed to hard style? Kind of a scooping motion as opposed to a hip hinge? I-m definitely not trying to be snarky here, just curious. Because your form on every other exercise looks perfect. Or maybe I should say they look as I would expect them to look.

yet another amazing video with great different exercises to suit all levels and training needs. I have as a rule not to follow many Fitness gurus online, just 2 or 3 at a push. You are my number one guru to go to and you never disappoint. Keep up this amazing work Cori, thanks for inspiring the fitness community!

Cori, thanks for directing me to Battle House Equipment! Would you please sometime in your busy schedule utilize the Battle House KettleonBall and PKB Kettlebell Sandbags in a workout of varying exercises. These appear that they would be great for the traveler. They like you are very creative!

Another great video! I've always been intimidated by kettle bells, so I don't use them often. I think I'll give them another try.
I'd like to see you do a video using Indian clubs. I've read great things about them! Thanks, again!

Knees bent and leaning back with hips too far forward on the swing. I switched off here. Too many people showing 'Kettlebell technique' with out properly knowing it.

Great vid, great form. apart from the swing, you weren-t straightening your legs at the top of the movement, which means fatigue will occur much quicker.

Regarding the kettlebell, does it matter whether it is hanging in front or behind the wrist? Thanks, Cora! (hope I spelled your name right): )

This just opened my eyes to the many uses of kettlebell! I was going to buy regular weights but I'm going to get 2 kettlebells instead!
