Beginner Full Body Calisthenics Workout - No Equipment Daily: Hi Lucy,
Congratulations on your transformation and sharing your journey with us. I am wondering would you recommend me doing HIIT workouts in addition to these beginner workouts. Let me give you some more details, I am overweight by about 50lbs. I am cutting my calories down to 1200, and I am using the Fitness pal app you recommended. Will I need to shed the extra lbs before I begin trying to do the beginner workouts? I tried your beginner workout today and I loved it. I wasnt able to do full push-ups yet, not even with thr modified one. lol.
I am committed and have done HIIT workouts in the past but I listened to a woman that is a certified trainer say women really don't need to do those intense workouts. She only recommends the calisthenics. I would just like your opinion.

Thank you so much for this actual beginners workout. It's still too hard for me but I feel when I do need to call it quits I already exhausted all of my muscles and their ability to continue functioning, lol. I am a 29 year old woman, I have NASH, a mystery autoimmune disease or two (possibly lupus, and am approximately 70lbs overweight at 5'5. I have a lot of joint pain and have had very weak muscles my whole life so I have always found it very difficult to keep up most exercises, ESPECIALLY after having my first baby 2 years ago. That baby destroyed my body (although it was worth it. This is the first video I have ever felt comfortable following along with and feel like I can slowly work up to at my own pace. Thank you.

Thank you Lucy. So glad to have found your videos. The simple workouts are encouraging for me to do. However I have a concern about diastasis recti (after having 3 kids. I have a finger-width gap in my diastasis recti. Would doing these exercises widen it? I haven-t been able to figure out what exercises I can do to reduce the diastasis recti and what exercises would be suitable. Like I heard that sit ups and crunches and leg raise would widen it but then I don-t know what else I can do. Would be so thrilled if you could reply me. Thank you very much for your wonderful sharing. You have also motivated me to start on this callisthenics journey. I hope I can make it!

Loved it! I just discovered calisthenics and I am so grateful! I just had my second baby in december, I-m 35 and more determined than ever to be in my best shape ever. I did vinyasa yoga on and off and I find that calisthenics have lots of similar moves but require more work and strength. I love how just like in yoga you use only your body. That-s the beauty of it in my opinion and I believe it also gives us a stronger mind.

nice workout, did 3 rounds and feel good having trained almost every muscle in my body. I really really like the dynamic warmup! .but there are
no pulling movements? maybe its bc im male, but chalistenics = pullups in my mind: p i just added a set of incline bodyweight rows after the tri-dips. now its greenietime, ty for this routine, man i struggle with the sideplanks anywayyyyyys ty for the nice video!

I generally thought I was fit- im even a healthy weight, and I. Could still only do 1/2 of the reps/time you suggest for your beginner routine! THANK YOU for making it easier and your pep-talk beforehand. If it was any harder id have thought this wasn-t for me. Im going to be working on these along with my 12 yo niece who is struggling with an inactive lifestyle, and increased appetite. Greatly appreciated!

So how does a person like me who has a tummy do these? I don't even have upper body strength. I struggle with resistance bands. Is there nothing that fat people can do that can help them lose weight? I've lost 20kgs but it's such slow moving I'm getting frustrated. I've been working out for 7 months some days I feel like I'm not getting any progress. I feel very disheartened

WAIT! I totally forgott it was a whole 3 circuit workout! But I am exhausted already and since I've loosing lot of my normal strenght past few months, I'm calling it an EXCELLENT first day! Thank you so much Lucy for helping me giving me motivation to trust in my body! I love your workout and your attitude helps me become wiser towards my whole getting healthy journey!

Oh my god thank you. Most of these workout videos out there for beginners often end up being too difficult for us, and it's really discouraging when you're struggling on moves meant to be easy. Love how you take the time to show us how we can start easier if we're struggling, and make it more challenging once we're comfortable, it makes it so much more motivating!
