First off, cute sweater Cassy!
And second: thank you for making this video! Ive been pushing myself hard this year to work out as much as I can and have started Pilates thanks to you! Ive been focusing on my stomach and legs a lot and started getting the someone just punched me hard in the gut kind of feeling. Being busy in life, I figured Id stop working out as the pain didnt really subside (it was never excruciating pain though, and I dont have the time/or money to see a doctor. Never knew the pain could last that long! Now that I know its normal (or can be, Ill have to start working out again! (Its been about a month; Ive been a REALLY busy.
Also, try going to a retail job the day after where you have to lift 20 lb totes! Being on your feet for 8 hours too? So sore! ;o;
Its amazing Im able to come home in one piece! Haha!
(Like this post if you have a retail or labor-intense job)

This comment is so unrelated to this video lol. but I purchased your book called Hot Body Year Round. like a year ago. not going to lie to you, that book sat inside of my dresser untouched. but all of a sudden something told me to take it out and actually read and study it. So when I read the intro about how you chased after your dreams even though others (a. k. a. parents) didn't believe in you, I couldn't help but get emotional because that's exactly where I am with my life! Your story and encouraging words really made an impact on me. Confidence is everything! Thank you for helping women like myself push past the barriers and have the courage to go after our dreams! Im going to study this book and get my body back finally as well lol. Love you girl

Hey Cassey: ) I'm working out with your videos for a year now. At the beginning, I felt sore a lot and I really LOVED it. It makes me feel like it was really worth the effort. But pretty soon I rarely felt sore afterwards, so I started using weights attached on my body. It worked for a while, but again, the feeling of soreness disappeared. Is there something I could do to change that? I'd really love to get some tips because it just feels like I do my workouts in vain (talking about getting physically stronger, not in general.
I'd be soo happy if there's anybody who could help me with this.

Stairs are the worst. When I started working out the first thing my brother asked me is that do your gym has stairs? I said no. And he said u r lucky. His gym is in the third floor and the elevator doesn't work. I found walking bit difficult. But the very same day the elevator in my apartment had an issue and i ought to take the stairs to the fifth floor. That was one of the worst moment in my entire life. One couple even thought that im a differently abled. It took more that half hour for me to get in there. I sat on most of the steps.

I absolutely HATE exercise. My family (mostly my mother) has tried getting me on healthier routines and they always got frustrated when I wouldn't stick to them. When I had all the soreness, Mom would always tell me that it's worth it, but I said, It would only be worth it if the results were permanent and I never had to do this again. Mom said, You're adding years to your life, and you're complaining about it? And I answered, If this is what those extra years are going to feel like, I think I'd rather be dead.

lol Thank goodness someone's mentioned how hard it is to put your hair up after really working your arms! Those days, yeah, there's no way I'm getting any french braids done up. And I LOVE side french braids. I have to psych myself just to put my hair up in a quick ponytail. There's a reason I love low pigtails. other than they're cute. ;) lol

The worst thing is when you have trouble sitting after leg day! Like Im just trying to sit down and not die lets not lie we have all struggled to sit on the toilet at some point because its so low
But anyways I love the burn that I get from working out, and being sore makes me feel super strong and powerful.

So true The stairs!
I 've definitely experienced delayed onset muscle pain!
I always take rest days to get my muscles to rest so as to make sure that on the next workout I will do better and become stronger.
Stretching and rest days are key factors in getting a more toned and stronger body.
