Gumly and Gumly. Great way to bring across information from 2 guys that are so interesting to follow. You to Paul. Dennis, I can say I have flown Virgin up the nose, only due to a daughter who worked for them so family flight. This was 2012 in the old configuration. We were given the last row behind the bulkhead. WOW. 3 seats all to ourselves plus curtained off as were the 2 seats either side. Up further front you are open to everyone. These seats I am told were held for special guests. I WAS SPECIAL. Well for once in my life anyway. The best flight I have ever had for 14 hours, besides being placed in Pan Am first class in 1890 due to overload. Funny sitting amongst people so dressed up as I sat there in my jeans, t shirt and cheap runners. One I will never forget. Cheers to you both. Scotty Australia

Really enjoy watching you two!
(Im an Adelaidean like you Dennis) Like you two, I am so unsure of what is happening-and what WILL happen to travel in the next few years. -& its killing me, because I love travelling and I always like to have a plan to travel somewhere, so I have something to look forward to! But, Even though I hate it, -fact is, while we are hoping it will get back to normal soon, NOONE knows when it will happen. I mean, HOPEFULLY it will improve soon, -but what if something happens and it doesnt? (I hate being a Negative Nellie, but everyone is starting to get stir crazy now) Lets hope something gets sorted soon!

Miss you guys and thanks - love this!
From Victoria - Melbourne, the leper colony! Missing just being in the air right now, such a part of my 'normal' even though I curse the traffic, waits, delays etc!
You are both awesome - best wishes!
Wish I'd had the chance to fly the final 777 flight around Australia. Hope the experience was amazing Dennis!
Thanks so much for sharing your journey.
PS: I hope the fact that our pilots and their amazing skills never change.
So safe to fly with AUSSIE pilots #legends

Another great video! Also good to see the Arrack make an appearance again, I have fond memories of sitting at the Mt Lavinia Hotel drinking Arrack. on a University study tour to Sri Lanka.
I really like this format- sure trip-reports are great, but there's too many issues with 'is it ethical to travel internationally? '. And sadly, that looks like it will be an issue for a long time to come- but this format is fun and we learn more about your experiences than you can ever deliver in a trip report.

Great seeing you two in this collaboration. I know it's highly unlikely but would love to see you guys do a flashback illustrating with photos and videos flying in the golden ages of aviation. For example, the passenger experience on a Pan American Clipper across the Pacific. Or a Concorde flight showing the onboard service. TWA's Ambassador service on their 747's where the FA's carved prime rib by your seat. You get the picture. Please consider doing something like this if you think it's feasible.

You're right that airlines will be rethinking their product as we come out of this.
Businesses have realised that they can conduct those meetings online, so that large revenue stream is going to be seriously curtailed. There will still be 'private' fliers wanting that level of service, and those who can afford First will still demand what they are accustomed to, but I can see that there will be an increased Premium marketing to take some of the hit out of Business losses.

About the fairness to fly, I used to travel more than 3 weeks a month for work. I did not put a foot in an airplane since January 31st. It is not that I would not but, even if my company would allow some business trips, I have no we're to go to: no conference's, clients are not in offices, . Airlines are unfortunately a collateral. You do not organize a business meeting in the backyard of a client's personal house or in the living room of its apartment.

When should I book my flight for a trip to Athens, Greece from Detroit Metro the last week of September 2021. I'm confident that there will be a vaccine, and it's far enough out that things may be settled down enough by then. I know Dennis mentioned book as far out as you can, when you mentioned the booking algorithms have gone away. No book on a Tuesday? I'd like your honest opinion from either/both of you. Thanks!

Jeb & Denniss Excellent Adventure! I dont agree about airlines taking an unfair rap. Yes, we take for granted the safety and reliability. But my daughter and her family live in Israel thats a rather long flight from New York. You blokes travel in First and Business. Twelve hours in steerage with no legroom and minimal side-to-side is no joke.

TWO BLOKES TALKING RUBBISH is not accurate, but it is a fun choice! Thank you for the video! That was a very naughty question I asked! I had forgotten all about it! LOL! I must have had a glass tooooo many! A warning to me to restrict my champagne intake! Thank you for taking it in such good humour! I think I deserved a scolding!

Thank you Dennis and Jeb, you guys are the best antidote for 'flight shaming', which might also contain some flight envy. So desperate to fly, I am prepared to hold my breath on a possible next journey to anywhere just to show my support for any possible airline flying out of Australia

Im not so concerned about the cleanliness of the plane but more the airports and the modes of transportation to and from the airport. I live in an area of Canada that has very view cases, so travelling anywhere outside my region seems more of a risk.

When a friend of mine and I travel together, we call our trips 2 Idiots Abroad. when I watch you two interacting, I'm reminded of those trips. Of course, I say this with much respect and admiration for you both and your work. :-)

The Grounded Flight Tubers - We Keep Talking about flying even if we can't get back in the air sounds like a good title and tag line. Enjoy the stories and hopefully, we will back in the skies soon enough.

Fewer Airlines i can see their only been 4 or 5 major groups left once all this is over with Oneworld etc coming out of it stronger. However the few low-cost Airlines will go to the wall

I would love to see Jeb review ANA and JAL airlines. I fly economy normally and I flew from Hawaii to Tokyo on ANA's Turtle Plane and the service and seat were the best I've ever had.

I actually non-revved on the Concorde in the late 80s. it was sublime. But I have better memories of a Delta L-1011 to the west coast on a Friday night.

I completely agree about the Concorde - if I could fly any aircraft, including EY A380 residence, I'd would still go for a flight on the Concorde.
