On on e hand, sure, you paid a higher price and you should be able to expect a certain type of comfort. But then again it's just so mindless of people in economy. I flew to Australia economy twice. One flight I was happy the flight was so empty I had an entire 3-seat row and a four seat row for myself so one could stretch out quite nicely. But on the other flights it was pretty full. And that's not just 8 hours.

Lousy Business class configuration. No privacy. Imagine having a stranger sitting/sleeping beside you and somehow having to climb over them when going to the bathroom? I find airlines that use these configurations are usually offering a value priced business class product(Less expensive than premium airlines that offer 1-2-1 on the same aircraft. Id pass unless the price was really right.

Lovely video, I am 2nd generation white Kenyan. Love to go back to Nairobi, which taxi did you use. As kids, we used to go to Wilson Airport club.

Had my best ever airline sleep on a KQ 787 NBO BKK (2016, biz class, last row of forward cabin with only about 6 other pax in the cabin. I used blanket/duvet from the unoccupied seat next to me as a mattress. which made all the difference! No bells and whistles but I think KQ are great ambassadors for Africa

I just secured a great upgrade when booking my flights from LHR to DAR for a wedding in Feb. Economy flights were so expensive (around 800 return with over 1k for the best timed flights when I wanted to go, however found that an upgrade to business on the return leg was only 160 more! bargain!

The landing has always been bad. I have now switched to Qatar Airlines, due to a rude F. A. - when asking for WATER (to drink medication. I sent a complaint to Kenya Airways and received a response a month later which did make any compensation for the poor service. They have lost a customer.

I'd choose them over British Airways' Business Class. You don't sit in a cupboard under the stairs and your meal doesn't come in a tiny box. That's a win. I bet the fare was less, too.

KA seem to be a great Airline, however, they should get rid of that plastic from the meals! Too much plastic! Also I found the ticket to be expensive for whatever we have seen.

In addition to your mosquitoes spray buy a baseball hat to put on. It will shield your head and the bill for the glare. Put one in your carry-on, they don't take up much space.
