Adored this one. Might be relatively expensive but the convenience is worth every single dollar. It is NYC however so you expect a premium. Compared with any private jet or a King Air however it's dirt cheap and you get a free speedboat ride. The whole team seem to be awesome too. I've had some horrible experiences trying to get from NYC to Boston or Providence RI and back. Would I pay the extra to fly to Logan on a Cessna 208 on floats? Every single time.

Very cool view. I'm not sure the price is worth it though as current tickets are around $400 for a single passenger and a bus ticket is about $25. If it was farther it would make sense but considering it takes an hour to get to the manhattan takeoff point, and an hour of travel as opposed to the 4 hour drive to Boston just doesn't make it worth it at that price point.

I absolutely would pay for that! You're not paying for the flight you're paying for the LACK of hassles that have been layered on to air travel.
I understand the price considering having to operate a boat shuttle as well as sea craft and they seem to be a very well and highly trained staff.

I just had an idea that you might think about.
Maybe you could try to fly on the personell planes of Stars and show us around in theire aircraft. Like Harrison Fords for example. Im sure there are alot other viewers that would like them.

I am 47 and seaplanes have been flying out of there as long as I can remember. I am sure Tailwind is a new airline, but charter and other flights have been out of this dock for ever. They used to do regular flights to the Hamptons, Block Island, Fire Island and alike

I emailed Tailwind if they could do service between Greenwood Lake on the NJ/NY state line and they said they could do a private charter. Probably not cheap $$, but still pretty cool!

I'd hate to use that little floating platform at Boston in winter. Nice views and the cost is for those that don't really think about the cost but the travel time saved.
