My BIZARRE Flight on AIR SERBIA Matt: I loved travelling with Air Serbia from LHR for work a couple of times out in Novi Sad! Glad I wasn't paying for it though as I remember it was a fair old chunk to fly with these guys even in Europe. It makes sense that the cabin crew is ex-Etihad as they still hold a minority stake in the airline with 80-odd percent being government owned - the new fleet being testament to Serbia's charge to be an EU member by 2025. Nikola Tesla Airport in Belgrade is also an interesting experience with a mini air museum in the departures terminal, your bags in the arrivals hall coming out the boot of a Fiat 500XL which are made in Kragujevac and still being the only airport i've travelled to where i've been on a plane during de-icing. Would love them to introduce more transatlantic routes not only JFK-BEG

The airline is not user friendly, there is no option to cancel the flight even in the first 24h. I tried to cancel it and they don't want to honor the refund in full. They offered 25% and said that it takes about 30 days for the refunds to be released. Such a joke. I have been travelling with different airlines from USA to Serbia for years but this time I wanted to try the product of the country where I was born and got burned. Across their and other websites they claim that refunds are offered in full within 24h of buying a ticked, its a lie. I fly frequently to Serbia, 4-5 times per year. Because of this I will never use them again for my future travel. I believe that the crew is friendly and hospitable but their business model is not user friendly.

Back in Europe. almost anyway. eastern Europe at least.
This is simply the way people in UK are brought up and educated by families and the state - they are simply ethnocentric chauvinists and resists.
It doesn't matter that Serbia is hundreds of kilometers form the territory of Eastern Europe, but the fact that the part of Europe that is the cradle of European civilization (the Balkans) is almost Europe says enough about the people from 51st state. You can talk with the nicest person from the Inbredland, and he/she is still ethnocentric chauvinist. Poisoned nation.

Quite lovely seats on this A330, fancied a lot; and the meal served just properly as it is either first or business class; strangely enough it puzzled me why you were asked to show proof of you visa? I've never been asked for that every time I leave the US when visiting my brother in Arizona. and back to Montreal, or Chile, where I used to work for an astronomical observatory. anyhow I keep enjoying your clips. cheers

You must understand the Serbian culture. From the surface, they might appear cold and unfriendly but peel the onion and you will find a kind warm soul. I have been on the airline many times in both economy and business and cannot complain. Wonderful experience. Remember, the culture is honest and real. When they smile, they mean it!

Are you still using an ESTA to enter US Noel? Surely you now have an immigrant visa or business immigrant visa as you moved you and the family from Mansfield to Houston TX. Also you will find most airlines treat economy passengers pretty shabby compared to the business class passengers but I am sure I don't have to tell you that.

The only bizarre thing that I have noticed during the flight is that you would mix Brandy which is actually a moonshine with salad. I must admit if I was one of the cabin crewmembers I would find that combination very odd and assume that alcoholism is behind it. How bizarre how bizarre

I have flown multiple times with Air Serbia, in economy and business and they were awesome in terms of attention, service, food and drinks and overall hospitality. As a FQT would recommend them actually over a number of other carriers, such as Brisitsh Airways, Air France or KLM.

Wealthy people being treated better is surely generally pretty much the norm I guess that is why people lie.
Serbia seems quite a mysterious country it might be more satisfying for the viewers if you flight guys showed a few experiences and sights in the cities you visit.

Your travel logs are the work of a genius. Viewing your video is as if I am myself on the flight experiencing all
that you do. You are doing a great job bringing the essentials of the culture of the so many peoples of this planet
to the viewers. Thank you.

What exactly was bizarre about your flight? You haven't shown us any of this alleged behaviour. Air Serbia is an incredible airline with the worlds best pilots. I've flown with them many times before and they have been nothing short of spectacular. Must be you!

Serbia is a part of Europe. Almost Europe. That's so rude. Eastern Europe is Europe! You have to read about Serbia and its culture, science, history, etc. Try to be better informed and educated before commenting about other countries and nations.

Flew economy once with family of 5 and i gotta tell you it was amazing, entire staff was super friendly from checking from NY to Belgrade. Food was amazing and so relaxing for a 8hr flight, definitely planning a trip in summer.

They were kind of rude and bathrooms didn't have any paper and they had a bit attitude when I asked tho I asked nicely. I didn't feel they were more rude than any other airline tho, whatever, those are long flights

The subtitling in this is really bad! ESTA became Esther; Aeroflot was consistently Air France. I dont know who youre paying to do it but possibly consider finding someone else - much of your audience will thank you!
reply

They shouldnt treat people flying in economy class any differently than business class. Have no intention in flying with that airline. Economy doesnt mean you didnt pay and are flying free of charge.

Where did you check in, Karachi? Not a single smile, either. In fact, in most of your videos, the counter agents never smile. I know it's a crap job, but if you're that unhappy, find something else.

You should try to do what I do every month and fly out to an oilrig? I know may not be as easy as you think BUT we had the one show on our rig one time. Would be a very entertaining video: )

We are back in Europe, almost in at least in east of Europe what a racist statement. European civilization started from the balkan peninsula for your info. so you can call now yourself european.

When you hear Serbian people speaking and you think they're about to get into a physical fight any minute now, it's is very likely, if not guaranteed, we are just saying Good day to one another.
