uperb. you could take another 20 min to builf s fire. So in anhour you would be sey for yje nohht. Ill bet you could with a little pack say 10 lbs jave enough to fish and trap and survivr a long yime in the woods. For long term you would need to gsther acorns and nuts and wild grains and tap trers fot sap amd usr cambium and grt rabbits and swuirrels and pigeon and fish and clams and crayfish etc. You need a good hatchet knife and saw and paracord nd gloves and shovel and wool blanket and pot to cook in. a deer license in season and shovel but knowing your skills you could make most of thrse from stone and bark and vines you are really skilled. Most people would freeze to death the first night or so. If they had all day to build a shelter. And i would thank God and nature for the lesbes and bows to build it. Like the ancient scotts I would take a sack of oats or crackrd cereal with me. Good to go

Beautifull vid as always. Seems like 20 mins are not enough for an adequate shelter, but you did manage to make an emergency shelter. Allright, lets set up a realistic situation. Gear: average hunter gear like a knife, lighter, waterproof jacket, gun and extra shells, mobile phone(for flashlight, a couple of plastic water bottles (if you want to be hardcore have one of them empty. Maybe you'd want to bring a soda can to use as a container for boiling water. 30 minutes for shelter. after that, to simulate an unexpected situation where you would have to stay in the woods, wait until dark/ rain comes. now during dark/ rain you are free to patch up any shelter holes and or make fire to cook a couple of pidgeons that you would have caught in this scenario. Let me know what you think: ) cheersP. S. I'm not a native english speaker so excuse any grammar/spelling mistakes

Something different this time. I try to build a shelter in 20 minutes and leave the camera running without any edit cuts. I enjoyed the challenge as part of this new Reality Challenge series that I will be doing every now and then. I want to do challenges either suggested by you guys or ones that I come up with, and try to do them as detailed as I can and show the reality of doing certain tasks - Be it a success OR a failure, I will show it on camera. Let me know your thoughts on the series and any ideas you have - It won't take place of my regular content, it will just be an addition every now and then. Off on an overnighter now, so next vid should hopefully be that episode soon Cheers for watching guys: )

1 hour challenge: Build shelter, collect fire wood, cook, then do overnighter. Rules: You have to build a shelter, start a fire, and you can use any tools. After the 1 hour you cant do any additions to said shelter. The fire also has to be started within the hour. But you can collect more firewood as needed afterwards as you are doing an overnighter. Additional challenge: hunting/ catching your dinner. As game can not always be found or caught this is an additional challenge on top of the 1 hour challenge. If you decide to go with this added challenge. Add 1 hour to your overall time. But it can NOT be used for shelter building. Only hunting/fishing. Enjoy.

Challenge Idea: Overnight Fishing Survival Challenge - Take nothing but a knife, line of your choosing, a hook (no rod or reel, and water. Challenge would be to build an overnight shelter taking as much time as you like, building a fire, and catching/cleaning food for your dinner all within a day. This situation would entail traveling to a place near a small lake or river in which you could fish, but I feel it could also be modified so that you could set up some type of trap to catch small game. It might be tricky to prepare whatever you catch without cutting bits of the video because of youtube's demonetization, but I think this would make a great video

Wow, You never stop to amaze me. Always have something to watch. I like all your videos, love you and your dad too on the pallet cabin build and move and so on. Great idea on this one, koodos One idea would be like a complete survival, Bushcraft, sort of full camp with a shelter build, fire pit, cut firewood, for heat and cooking and overnight stay with a cooking of a steak for keeping up with Haze and his steak for men's mental health So a timed challenge, realistic but with no edits. That would be awesome Just ideas my man, love everything all of you Bushcraft ERS are doing. Every one of you. Cheers mate, don't forget the beer

fantastic video challenge. I would really have liked to see it extended to a catch & cook and overnight. I hope haze outdoors. BA Bartons and corporals corner take it up. I've seen a lot of videos where they say that took 30 mins and i couldn't do half that in that time. but Haze, BA & CC have great content but different styles. it would be great to see the challenge done in totally different locations and by different people with different approaches but with the same principles and end goal. really hope this gets taken up as a challenge.

Great video This a great skill to have, on one of our outings my grandsons 10 and 7 out of the blue bet their Dad (my son) that they could build a shelter faster thenhe could. They built this type of shelter. It was cooling seeing them practice these skills. I look forward to seeing an overnighter in this shelter. I hate being so forward, but would be pleased if you checked out our video Shelter Building Challenge Father vs Sons 10 and 7. Thank You and Thanks for the cool videos. Loved the cabin build

I was honestly just thinking of something similar to this, and then you show up and do it right awayMy idea was an always-on camera all through a bushcraft camp or something similar, maybe even real time (like this video. So, turn it off in the night, but have it filming from arrival and show all the repetitive actions that you do. Great for the likes of us that dont really have the time to do what you do, but would really like to: .Great video, keep it up: )

A pretty good shelter, given the allotted time. This is more realistic and definitely going to be an interesting series. I do agree that at least one episode should be an overnight challenge, though if you're going for the full no-tools job it has to be without bringing any food with you, as well. Winter might be a bit too difficult unless you know what you're looking for and where to find it, but spring, summer and autumn should offer quite a lot of wild food.
