Normally wagons live in the shadows of their flashier and better selling sedan counterpart, not so for Subaru's Legacy however where the Outback wagon manages to outsell the Legacy by nearly 5: 1. Some companies might have just ditched the sedan altogether with that kind of sales imbalance but Subaru decided to bring both vehicles to America for 2020. In a shrinking sedan market AWD seems to be the feature to look for and not everyone offers it. That said, since this video was recorded we now know that the Avalon, Camry and Optima are all getting AWD very very soon.
Matt Speer: Subaru really needs to work on their styling. This thing is so anonymous looking, I nearly fell asleep when it popped up on the screen. Also, having a nice big infotainment screen is useless if the processor behind it is too underpowered to provide a smooth experience and the layout of the menu system is unintuitive. Same issue as the junk infotainment systems in Volvos. Date: 2019-12-25
