How Much Power / Range Does Sentry Mode Use?

Sentry mode is one of Tesla\'s latest and most intriguing features, but how much power does it use? Can you turn it on and leave your car at the airport for a week? A fortnight? A month? The answer: a solid maybe. rcnacura: We have to manually charge the car back once in awhile because of sentry mode, but if you have it charge at a specific time, this alleviates this. Hoping in the future updates, car can keep battery fully charged and just suck power for sentry mode from charging cord.

Tesla will not honor their 5, 000 miles of supercharging on my Model 3 To make a long story short I had to call in to order the Standard Range and gave the salesman my referral code which he assured me would get my buddy and I the 5000 miles. After a couple days, I decided I wanted the Autopilot and other features found in the Standard Range Plus so I upgraded my order. Now Tesla will not honor the referral code since I didn't order through a link. How can one order the base model 3 from a link when the base model is not offered online? Tesla needs to step up and make this right. Hopefully enough people see this.

Id think that a solar roof panel would create enough power to run sentry mode as long as it was parked in the open. A small solar panel would help to act like a trickle charger if you were parked in long term parking or something out in the open and you could come back to a more charged battery than when you left. Im surprised Tesla doesnt have some sort of solar panel on the car.

First, i swear i don't have notification on. What storage devicce do you use? i plug in mine for weeks in the garage, i just set it to charge at 11pm. But plugging it in all the time draw about 4 miles/day even though i don't have anything on.

I like at: 18 how you state the consumption in watts because that is absolute - when we talk in miles, since everyone's consumption differs what is 1. 1 miles to you might actually be 1. 5 for someone else who drives less efficiently.

I think it'll eventually top back up to your selected charge limit, but only once the state of charge drops below some threshold. But I'm not sure.

Sentry Mode is thirsty bro. I drive 22 miles per day and being parked for 12 hours a day, its almost the same drain as a one way trip
