Noooo, Eric!
Don't stop making these electronic videos. They keep reminding me how deleriously happy I am that I no longer own an American made auto for THIS VERY REASON. Engineered failure is now commonplace. I owned two, count 'em 2, of the best cars GM makes, their Cadillacs. Both, repeat after me BOTH, of them had this very unit replaced. My second one had 2 of them replaced (One under warranty WITH a reman'd transmission. Under warranty mind you, not brand new.
I'm now the proud owner of a German & a Japanese automobiles and haven't seen an auto repair facility in 4 years. Other than for regular maintenance, of course.
Keep making them, Eric. Till the entire country understands that we make garbage cars now. While Gramma China & Uncle Mexico get wealthier making our parts for us.

I love all your videos including these dash and electronic videos. I am a fair mechanic that tackles all repairs on my antique cars and tractors, and my modern vehicles. My 2011 Ford truck has 325, 100 miles today thanks to your videos. You have given me the knowledge and courage to attack any maintenance and repair issue on all vehicles, including radio and HVAC blender repairs that would have otherwise scared me on my modern cars. You have saved us thousands of dollars and given us many hours of entertainment. My best to and your family. Keep the videos coming!

You know with all the features these cars come with now days, this stuff is becoming the norm and it s just irritating at times as to how complex the electrical systems are becoming. On my 2014 Malibu, the radio, CD player, and XM radio functions work just fine but the navigation system just spins driving down the road. Essentially I have to replace the whole radio unit just to fix small part of it that has gone bad.

My '97 Venture with 110, 000 miles is full of modules that I have to learn about when one of them starts to act up, Fortunately most of those type parts are available on ebay or the wrecking yard, One time I thought the engine computer had gone bad, so I only had to pay 100 bucks for a used one preprogrammed with my vin, That process showed me how reliable engine computers tend to be, and now I have a spare, :-)

Making videos: two main issues, IMHO. 1) you are very entertaining, and fun to watch sorting through diagnosing problems (and informative. 2) Lots of folks may have similar or even the same problems, and learning proper diagnosis gives them info to decide if they can do it themselves, or have a shop do it. Keep it up. I always look forward to them. Mrs O making an appearance is always a bonus feature.

Hello Eric & Mrs O you mentioned that these videos are kinda boring. Sometimes kinda boring is just what the Doctor ordered. It makes you appreciate the usual videos. This viewer enjoys your presentation even on the videos that may be on the simpler side. You never know when you may see some plastic explode. Keep up the good work and great videos please.

Yes we need these kinds of videos out here Eric. Most mechanics I've worked around were so scared of this kind of work that they would always say, Take it to the dealer. With this video you have proven that techs can do this and not be the Dealer. I work on Fords using Forscan programming APIM's and other modules. I ain't never scared.

You had me on the edge of my seat with all the drama you added as you were unsnapping trim clips. I enjoyed video and thought it was entertaining and educational. That alien technology is above my skill level and not on my bucket list of things to do.

I love these videos because like it or not, this is the future of vehicles. It's a change of pace and I work in IT and love some of the cross over. But honestly, I would prefer some more brake change videos, you don't do enough of those. ;)
