Desperate Times Call for Desperate Measures localcrew: You are the WORST mechanic in the history of the WORLD! Hey you wanted criticism. Actually, what you did here is just about what I have been doing to my gfs 99 Pathfinder. I still have to get it up off the ground and weld up the exhaust some more. And there s a big piece missing from the unit-body frame thing. Where did this rusty heap start out in life? Buffalo New York. Questions?

man i loved my lil GT Cruiser. fastest model they made and was quick enough to keep me pacified. bought it with 98k for 2600 sold it a couple yrs later with 110k for 3200 if i remember right. jet black with chrome wheels. pretty sharp lookin lil car and amazed me that i was able to carry a whole table saw in it. my only complaints were that i could tell it wasnt going to hold up like a toyota, and it should have been AWD with independent rear suspension. that mini van crap made it terrible at higher speeds. the ass end would jump around way too much. now i got a 2001 6. 0L K2500 suburban with 101k. built like a tank, drives like a land yacht.

I hope you know that there are so many of us out here who just enjoy sitting back, relaxing, and watching your videos as a distraction from the daily grind. It s really nice to escape into the shop with you, share a laugh, and learn something.
Thanks so much for giving us a little escape!

Saw an old truck going by this morning, fuel tank was about dragging on the highway. I was glad to be going the opposite way. How did I know it was the fuel tank? Well, the sides of the truck were so rusted out you could see the tank and the yellow strap that was attempting to hold it up.

Ivan just had one of those that had a bad PCM. He did everything he could but the customer decided to scrap the vehicle. The rest of it actually looked not too bad. Perhaps you guys could make one good PTC from 2?

Nice honest repair Eric. When I worked at Midas, the owner would always yell at me for those repairs but, where did that customer go back when they had another problem - you guessed it. Our shop!

Great work, good honest work people should be great full to people like you that fix things and don t just replace the part, it s much better no matter how you look at things.

Gonna put together a cheap exhaust system for the car in my profile picture. Would be cool to have an expander!
Eventually, it'll get a full stainless steel system.

Hi Eric, I have to do that all the time. Plus I find OG mufflers are much better than after market cheapo, worth fixing if not completely rotted. Often just break.

Welding without a helmet can be best summed up by Mater from cars-
Ain't no need to watch where I'm goin'; just need to know where I've been.

I have that same Astro cutoff. Agree she needs a lot of volume at decent pressure (100+ psi) to get many jobs done. Great for tight areas.

Thought this might be the same PT Cruiser in Ivan's latest video. but, I guess not. That owner decided to junk his car.
