This week, for the first time in my life, I purchased my first cans of Brakleen while servicing my tractor! It works really well but I am disappointed that it will not make that sound it makes for you, I went through a whole can trying to make that noise!

Using that air hammer looks VERY dangerous on a gas tank. One spark could cause a serious injury or death. A brass or aluminum tip on the hammer instead of steel tip might be a good idea. Or fill the tank with water.

The better they make them the more problems they create. That lock ring should have been plastic/nylon as well. GM knew that would happen, it s part of the design, got to keep those repairs coming in.

Had this exact problem with the wife's 2006 Jeep Liberty. Dealer said Libertys and Neons were noted for it. Welcome to the PRNY. Great video.

Ahhh, I did a Hyundai Santa Fe that had the rusty broken pump module, but we don t see that much rust usually down here in CFL.

Thanks for the follow up! Was the new lock ring stainless steel or coated to prevent the same issue? I doubt it if an OEM.
