This drag race put a huge smile on my face. NA V12 with Gintani exhaust vs a turbo 3 cylinder with an insane power/displacement ratio.
And to give you an idea of how crazy that tuned GR Yaris is. It's making 630hp from a 1. 6L engine. That's roughly 394hp/L.
A Koenigsegg Jesko makes 320hp/L.
The current F1 V6 engines make roughly 550hp/L, more or less.
But the new F1 V6 engines in 2026 will only have 336hp/L. Assuming the displacement stays the same, at 1. 6L.
So 394hp/L is kinda insane ngl.

As I've always said. No amount of downshifting will increase a car's stopping performance. You cannot stop quicker than what the limit of adhesion (without slip) to the road will allow. ABS is made for that particular purpose. While down shifting may sound nice and will make a difference under most braking conditions, it does not aid braking when absolute Maximum braking is applied. As mentioned, no car can brake quicker than what the limit of adhesion (without slip) will allow. Just basic physics.

I just hope you don't bring this GR because basically how embarrassing it is to drive a car of this size that is supposed to be economical and it is modified to have a lot of power and a loud sound and yet it is still bad in the first place, really embarrassing.

So ein Scheiss dieses Rennen ein 3 Zylinder auch wenn der mit 600 PS kommt hat der doch keine Chance gegen einen 8 Zylinder Ferrari, weil ein 3 Zylinder untenraus gut ist aber oben Raus mit seinen 3 Zylinder keine Chancen hat.

Wow this shows how toyota did a good job on that ENGINE. Seeing how enthusiasts are now rebuilding and squuzing a lot of power from that small engine. It has bee long since toyota made and engine that has got the attention on tuners

That's still impressive for a 3 cylinder turbo car to be able to hang around with a V12 super car so close. Just shows that 3 and 4 cyl. cars are underestimated. Sure it didn't win but it wasn't stomped outright either.

Imagine being 130k in a Toyota Yaris, nearly 500kg lighter than the 812, only around 80bhp less and getting absolutely destroyed by a stock 812 What a waste of money lol, just buy a used F12 or add a little and buy a used 812

Let's be honest. if the GR totally smoked the 812SF, I'd still take the 812 any day of the week 100%. But I got to give credit where credit is due. That little GR runs like a scalded dog. damn it's quick ASF

Not sure about the 812 but. The Aventador, when it gets its Gintani exhaust treatment, also gets a special Gintani tune that makes it pop more as well as increases its power. Possibly the case here as well.

ok, but considering the price of the Ferrari, if you work out a factor of how much more the Ferrari costs compared to the Yaris, wouldn't you expect it to absolutely thrash the Yaris

I feel like that Yaris should be much quicker considering the power and weight. It's quarter mile way no quicker than an E63S yet it makes more power and is way lighter

Question, with sam down shifting like that's, wouldn't he put the car in first and damage the transmission or does the electronics doesn't allow that to happen

130k Yaris Hahaha. Anyone having this much cash for a second car would always go for the supercar. Can't beat neither the looks nor that gorgeous sound.

Grew up with Ferrari's and their marketing and everything like that. That V12 Ferrari is one of the best looking ones I've seen. Damn that looks beautiful
