Matt did you use mind when you often add 100-200kg to some italian cars for weight with all fluids It hapends to have a minimal automotive knowledge I mean engine oil 5-9liters/kg, coolant 12L/kg, gearbox and diff 6L/kg, steering maximum 3Liters, SO 91263 =30kg. let's put another 10kg for safety which means 40kg. which is NOT EVEN CLOSE to your 100 even 200kg estimated as difference between dry weight and ready to go vehicle.

Great vids. Could you please show not just the time but trap speed as well Also it would help IMO if there was drone footage at the start/finish line for us and you to see who was across the line first and if someone jumped the start. I believe this would make the races more enjoyable.

Maybe its just me but I'm nog impressed at all by an EV going fast in the quarter mile. It's been done a million times now, and apart from the speed there's nothing else going on. No epic soundtrack, not feeling the powerband of the engine, no rowing gears. it's just boring

I was going to say i wouldn't mind driving a tesla if i was driving like 5km per day or something, but that wouldn't make sense either, a 1. 6diesel would be better for me, as long as the confort is there why would you want a 2. 5 ton semi suv or whatever that is.

Now get them all 3 to an empty fuel/energy status, fully recharge/refill and immediately start the race between the two petrol cars since the Tesla will still be connected by the time they complete all races and braking challenge.

Fake wow try to make Tesla loosing, but failled even with 7 seats Model X plaid a 40% soc. Everytime carwow when it’s Tesla you do something wrong, sometimes tires, sometiemes no lauch mode stop doing this and be honest

Nah the Ferrari 296 was so close to beat the tesla image if there was a Ferrari sf90 it whould have destroyed the tesla and the Maclaren. I honestly don't like tesla they are ruining the car community

I think it was Brooks from Dragtimes who said that Tesla Model S Plaid did 0-60 in 2. 3 seconds when battery was below 20%. I assume that would affect the top speed sooner though.
