Dodge camper van review! Today I'm reviewing an old-school relic -- a 1980s Dodge camper van with a bathroom and a kitchen! I'll show you around this van and show you all of its quirks and features, and then I'll get it on the road and drive it and show you what it's like behind the wheel of this cool 1987 Dodge B250 camper van. Bill: Doug, you missed that Roadtrek vans were cutting edge in the day for their roofline being much more sleek and aerodynamic than the competition. They did this by cutting out the original floor in the middle of the van and lowering it so you have enough room to stand up. That s part of the pad over the door, because you have to step up from the living area when you exit the side door. I own a 1994 Chevy version and it s freaking awesome!

I love the fact that RV technology basically didn't change for 30 years. That light in the kitchen is near-identical to the lights in our old mid '00s RV. The fridge, other than switching the front from woodgrain with brushed aluminum, and integrating the lock it closed into the handle, is identical. (Made by the same company, who has apparently been _the_ supplier of RV/camper refrigerators for like 50 years or something. Our 2017 camper trailer has the same brand - only bigger/closer-to-house-size)

They don't build them like they used to.
Manufacturers used to care about durability, then they realized they made more money if they sold you crap that breaks.
I will be SHOCKED to see any modern car still around let alone function after 30+years.
Don't even get me started on EVs. scrap/replace within just several years. Sooo eco. /sarcasm lol

Holysh-t! Doug, have you never seen a camper-van ever before? You should come to Sweden, every 1 of 18 households have an RW and every 1 of 6 households has a Caravan. And we have alot of these Dodge RW but mostly the short models.

Not much of a bathroom since it doesn t have a shower. That company now shoehorns a full wet bath in the same space as that toilet alone. I was surprised when the other side (1 closer to the rear) wasn t outfitted as a closet.

As a mobile mechanic, I could literally live in this thing, and make money with it. All I'd need is a small trailer. As a prepper and mechanic, I absolutely love storage.

Me: I want one.
Wife: No.
Yes, it's the iron man meme. That's pretty much my life. Every day. All day. 'Till death do us part. And probably even after that.

When my parents remodeled their basement in the early 1980s, they added brown-tan-orange stripes along the top of the wall - VERY reminiscent of this van's stripes.

Had one of these a couple years ago when I ran a dog rescue. Drove it all over the country and never broke down. It's a shame THAT Dodge doesn't exist anymore.

Ok we get it, you need to make longer videos to make some money but come on! Talking about the switch of a light which turns it on and off! Wow!
