Today I'm going to give you an update on my Audi RS2 Avant, and let you know what it's been like to own one for a year. I'm also going to explain what's going on with my other cars, too! earthrace57: I m not sure if this is a problem with the RS2, but I know sometimes that kinda thing will happen to early NSX s due to the capacitors in the gauge cluster blowing, which is usually considered a fire hazard

I have a 2002 IS300 and it was fine for 8 months until it started blowing the EFI fuse. The first time it happened i was leaving the grocery store parking lot, and the car shut off. I replaced the fuse and it worked for another week, no issues, hooning included. Then a week later I was driving it normally and the car just shut off while driving it down the road. The Check engine light came on, and the tail light indicator came on. I replaced the efi fuse again to try and get home and it just kept blowing the fuses. Ive heard its something with the O2 sensor?

With the issues the RS2 has, personally, I wouldn't put up with it and it would be gone. That little Mercedes convertible is at the perfect time to capitalize on the crazy market and make a ton of money. I'm not much of a car collection guy though. I could afford to have a bunch of cars but my do things efficiently engineer part of me keeps me from buying more cars.

If the windshield starts having cracks more than 6-8 inches long, or cracks/chips at the edge, I'd suggest biting the bullet and replacing the windshield, since it (as far as I know) plays a small role in the structure of the car. If it's just small cracks/chips that aren't near the edge, it should be fine (other than the minor annoyance)

Your Breaklight warning is probably the wiring loom going from the roof to the rear hatch, other than that i have rarely heard of electric troubles in B4s. There is a double wide relay in the drivers footwell for the power windows which is known to go bad sometimes

Doug still hasn't learned that undershirts do not live under a t-shirt in the west coast. Thank you for the update. oh. And Doug is the type of guy to have a baby and only casually drop it into a video. Congratulations Papa Demuro.

As a Jeep owner I also get the windshield issues. I've had mine for a year and a half and I have 9 chips. Some have slider cracked and some have not. I leave mine until I get pulled over and told to change it by Johnny Law lol

Question about the new Defender.
Do you like that body-colored square where the C pillar is? I always thought blacking that piece out would make the new Defender look even more modern. Maybe even give it that concept car feel

My car insurance threatened to drop me if I got another wind shield replaced. I just kept getting them replaced to the tune of 3 in 9 months at one point. Those upright windshields are magnets for everything.

Does car insurance not cover windscreen repair/replacement in the US? Also, if you catch the chip/crack early you might be able to get it repaired to prevent it spreading for much less money.
