Here's the problem with MOST people reviewing Maseratis, and that includes our very own Douglas DeMuro. People don't understand the reason you buy a Maserati is similar to the reason you buy a Ferrari or Lamborghini. You buy it for what it provides in spades (styling, sound, performance, and less so for navigation systems, adaptive cruise control, lane assist, backup cameras, etc. I'm tired of seeing these reviews not appreciate the essence of a car and instead review everything to see if it can fill in all of the checkboxes for available technology. Real drivers IMO don't care about most of that stuff. Instead we're catering to regular people who might buy Maseratis because they're nice cars and expensive. Totally wrong attitude to have with these cars. Put it this way, if you were to borrow a car for a day in a place you don't need navigation for and there's not much need for heating or cooling, which car would you want? This Maserati or some run of the mill Benz, Porsche, Jag? Guys like Doug can't see this.

i have this same car the Maserati MC GT sport it is, without doubt, the most beautiful and amazing car i have had the pleasure to dirve, it is a piece of art and a proper car doug seems to want a car that is driven by a computer, is his driving that bad, i have had other supercars and most recently the bmw 18 which i sent back after a month, i so couldn't wait to get back in my maserati doug you are a neanderthal when it comes to appreciating a car that is a total icon, so what if the design is 12 years old they dont have to change the design as they got it right first time, yes the infotainment is old fashioned but its a car your buying not a household entertainment system, the idea of the car is to enjoy the experience of a maserati and take insane pleasure in driving one NOT that is shuffles your cd's correctly. please do not do any more maserati clips as they are pointless as are your views on the most beautiful production car there is

This is the most hilarious car review ever LMAO. Love this car though, love the looks and best sounding exhaust. I live in Austin, and know that dealership, I believe that car belonged to a doctor, now owns a McLaren. I almost bought a 2016 MC, but instead bought a junk Tesla Model 3. Funny, I ran into a 2019 MC and killed it, both on a roll and mid top end. But its no comparison to a Maserati MC. Tesla Model 3 is tech and thats it. Not a good quality vehicle. cheap paint, very cheap windshield chips with literally sand hitting it, every body panel is off etc. Its the only car Ive ever had out of 30 vehicles that I can literally say Im not completely happy with but is an amazing every day driver to say the least.

Despite the title, I still don't think that he looks at this car as a truly good car. I think Maserati is Doug's TRIGGERED word. Maybe because his Fiance ex-change Doug for a guy that daily drives a Maserati. JUST GO AND SPEND SOME TIME IN YOUR FORD GT Oh, your Ford GT doors are annoying. ALL FOR YOU IS ANNOYINGDoug, the type of guy who spots a Maserati, asks the driver to review it for him, and literally bashes its interior, HowToBasic style. YOU NEED TO CALM DOWN

Lol, Europeans probably recognize the satnav / phone dial pad system. It's actually the system PSA (Peugeot Citroen group) delivered in their cars from around 2001 up to 2007: ') My dad's old Peugeot 807 had a system just like this, even the font is the same. My guess is the owner of Maserati, the then still Fiat group, licensed it from the era they build the large Fiat Ulysse and Lancia Phedra MPV's in cooperation with Peugeot / Citroen. They had the same system.

Hurts me to write this. but this car is for me almost like a fetish thing. I have always loved the brand. but for that amount of dolla I would rather buy something more loaded with fun technology and better interior. At least give me bluetooth to blast my tunes while I get inside high AF Yisus chtist nggasThere are waaay cooler cars at a really afortable price than this.

If you plan to go for a sightseeing trip with three of your friends accompanied with lot's of drivethru and you need a ergonomic Grand-Touring car with severly limited technological features, then the Maserati GranTurismo MC Stradale would be your best bet. 150k for a Grand Tourer that is fitted with no technological features is totally absent-minded.

Yo Dougie D. You make me laugh dude Four giraffes, heh heh. The exterior is great, but the interior needs a better color, with the wood strip paneling. It's overpriced and would be good slightly used, no MC badging, with an excellent color combo of champagne exterior, camel interior, convertible at around 80k. With the new touch-screen of course. ;)

That's it I'm not viewing any more of Dough's videos. The quirkiness and crasyness of Dough has been a main feature, but this time it just tips over the edge. It's like he is trying too hard and is stuck in his own conception of how a car should work and layed out. He doensn't do justice to the Mazzer and that is sad. Bye bye Dougie.

I think I know the platform now you mentioned the oversized front end of the Maserati GT now I'm thinking it's a cheaper version of a Ferrari gtc4lusso with a V8 engine in it that's a lot of common themes going on there between the two cars and Maserati has had Ferrari build drive trains and other parts for them before including engines
