So, what did you get kicked off the track for? Your age, perhaps? Im a year older than you are, Scotty. I drove the Coors 400 Enduro, Labor Day 1987. I finished. I havent done any significant race driving since. I was a good bit younger back in 87. If Im driving off the streets these days, Im probably on my bicycle. My bicycle is a 1987 Trek 520 Cirrus - made in Wisconsin, USA. Its a fine touring bicycle. Ive ridden all over Minnesota. No age rules on bicycles.

2: 27 left of screen, 9 o'clock I spy an Holden Commodore from Australia The old VL[? ] with a Nissan 2 or 3L straight six (afaik only 3L Calais Director models were turbo. They also came out with Holdens 308 V8. The super-tricked-up version accelerated to 100kmh/60mph in a mere 6 seconds. I'm a Ford owner but it's still cool to see one at a track in Texas

This is what I love to see Regular people and racing enthusiasts getting together just for the fun of driving. This is the kind of grassroots excitement that NASCAR lost years ago when it became a circlejerk for carmakers and billion-dollar corporations. Long live real car culture
