Ford is Bringing Back Their Cars Again After Customer Outrage shilloshillos: Hey Scotty, I want to thank you for all the invaluable information you share on your videos. I live in the island of Cyprus in the mediterranean. I have a 1st gen rav4. Suddenly the steering went stiff but not the whole way. It would bind for a quarter turn then free up both ways. A mechanic told me it was the steering column, another said it was the Steering rack and pinion. I put the car for sale and bought a 2nd gen rav4. A much nicer vehicle by a long stretch. Old rav4 didn't sell in a months time, so I decided to do something about it myself. So I changed the Steering fluid, like you suggested in an old video, put new steering fluid with conditioner. Also sprayed WD40 on the U joint of the steering shaft right before it connects to the pinion. Well, lo and behold that did it Steering is as smooth as butter. IF I knew I could fix it myself, I wouldn't have bought another vehicle. Sadly the Old rav4 HAS to sell because I already bought something else. At least I can ask for more money. THANK YOU THANK YOU for all the great knowledge you provide to us.

Scotty love your videos and the fact that you are honest and even if you have a bias only the facts are said. That said need help desperately with a 2008 Chevy Tahoe ltz with the 5. 3L and four wheel drive. Just recently burnt up all the oil but caught before any major damage, or so I thought just a week after water pump went out replaced that now it squeals like the mechanic used the old drive belt after replacing water pump. Also it has a suspension light on because the dealership unplugged something because it's lifted and on ridiculous 22in rims. Also from a dead stop or when turning the truck stutters through first gear and then is alright after. I don't want to know if it's worth rebuilding it to factory or getting something else entirely because as it sits with the lift and rims the truck is absolutely ruined even the ride is suffering tremendously.

Scotty I have a 2012 Grand Cherokee with the 290 hp 3. 6 v6 engine with 5 speed auto. We love it. Never had one issue with it. EVER. And I live in Maine. A state that the winter roads eats bodys and frames from the liquid calcium they use on winter roads. Its got 112 thousand miles. I change the oil every 4 thousand miles and I run mobile one synthetic. My cousin owns a very expensive scan computer. And we put it on regularly even though it never throws a light and everything is perfect. What are your thoughts on the 3. 6 motor. I know people who have the motor in rams and grand Cherokees and none of them have issues. Is the 3. 6 a good motor in your opinion?

I noticed my Honda wouldn't start. To find out it was my chip key failing. So, I had to use my spare. Id rather car not even act like it starting then just sit there cranking like its trying and never actually turning over. Only way to know is that it has a 'key' icon blinding. At least I know how. If a is blinding the chips acting up. Anyone know if this cranking is hard on the car. Bed I didn't even realize for a long time while it was slowly failing. Also does the chip work normally with a new key or does it need activated to work for that particular car? And could a key shop do it generally? I'm thinking of getting a new don't like not having a spare.

Loncoln is correct for wanting a sedan to sell. Ford would be wise to continue to make the Fusion. It's time for a redo, but Ford still sells a bunch of them. Lincoln can brand a Lincoln version of the Fusion like they currently do. Hopefully if they do it will not be the current monstrosity Fusionized Lincoln. It is ugly. Make some effort. Look how well Cadillac originally made the (Nova) Seville look classy. The result was a beautiful Seville that people didn't instantly recognize as a Nova. It sold like crazy and was the most expensive Cadillac at the time. GM made a killing on the first gen Seville. Lincoln can do the same. All it takes is effort.

Hey Scotty I'm from Israel I wanted to ask please this question. I have a Suzuki Liana 2002 it reached 340, 000km with no special issues which have served me extremely well over the years. I purchased recently Toyota Yaris hybrid 2019 and I'm not using the Liana anymore. The Liana sits in my garage no one is using it. And I had bad experience in past moving a car to someone to usr while I don't use it. Question should I keep hold the Liana in my garage I have no technical skills for a far away day where I just need a spare car a thing I don't expect in coming years. Thanks Peace & Live.

I'm just glad Lincolns have become Luxury vehicles again instead of just rebadged Fords with leather seats. You get 24 and 30 way power seats heated and cooled, a much better dash than the Fords, you can get different interior themes, and the styling actually sets them apart from their Found On Road Dead counterparts lol. I would drive the new Navigator and Aviator, and even the Continental. Who cares if these cars don't handle like German cars. These things are meant to absorb bumps like a luxury car should.

Hello Scotty, Peugeot's latest generation is proving spectacular in quality, reliability and sales. Their employees just got a 4100 bonus. Their main diesel engine, the 2. 0 hdi, has been perfected for 20 years. 400 nm, 46 mpg (US. Both of them real life results, mixed driving. Their smaller diesel, and which sells even more, being fitted in smaller cars, the 1. 6 bluehdi, 300 nm, 50 mpg (US. The latter is so flexible you can do 35 mph in sixth gear and I like it much more than the 2. 0, which I own.

5: 14 I have this exact same car and my right wheel bushings definitely went bad too. They were loud as hell roaring louder and louder the faster you go. Got em fixed and the noise went away. I also had the water pump, starter, and alternator go out and replaced myself. The accessory on this model Honda civic are pretty cheap the engine and trans are pretty solid as long as your not in the recall yer for this car. My radio and ac lights just went out as well. I only have 125000 miles on an 08
