The Truth About the Coronavirus and Cars Budhaditya: Hi Scotty, I am really amazed by your knowledge and understanding about cars. I recently bought a Honda City. 7 years old with 120, 000 kms. Rides OK. Checked it myself before buying. After buying got a new set of tyres an oil and air filter change. Fitted a few electricals to make life simpler like central locking system and em reverse sensor. I experienced some oil leak from the drain bolt after oil change. Had a new bolt put in. Had a mechanic check the obd with his laptop. Guy said no major problems. There is some gear oil leak. Very minor. It's a standard shift. What other things can go wrong, or I should look out for. Thanks a lot. P. S. - will you do a video on Honda city.

I did this on my 2011 Toyota Camry, hottest heat mode and fan on highest level and pushed the recirculation button. After a period of time the recirculation mode shuts off [ light goes out ]. But, by only having the aircon running, the recirculation mode continues [ light stays on ]. So, I would have to tape down the recirculation button while in the heat only mode.

Ozone is actually oxygen = 03 though instead of 02 and it's not safe to inhale. It's supposed to get rid of dog smells in cars as well. We had one at work but now nobody knows where it's gone so I'm having to resort to diesel and tobacco to get rid of the dog smell in my latest project.

I guess it can live outside you're body for 3 days, but I think if this was an effective method they would probably have some knowledge of it. But this is a brand new strain so I'd say its probably not the same effect on the virus from the ozone. I mean it cant hurt to try though.

That was Cool Scotty. I Love the Disclaimer: I'm not just some Old Mechanic Guy. Maybe this would make a good T Shirt: PHD in Cars stick figure guy w/ a graduation hat along w/ a picture of a Wrench. i hope Scammers dont use that Ozone machine to De-Mold Flood Cars %(>

Just a minute there, Scotty. You are right about the transmission on the Volvo but other than that they run forever. I have '93 960 2l 16V Turbo and a '91 240 Super Polar. Excellent and reliable daily drivers despite the 500000 miles they've clocked between them.

Im sorry to say that the USA is in a terrible situation currently. No proper public hospitals or free health care. Tons of homeless all through the West coast. Poor government organisation. Look at how badly your government handled Hurricane Katrina

Keep in mind that ozone gas can be hard on some foams, especially latex. I would use the minimum amount of time possible. If you make a habit of saturating your car frequently with ozone, you may be risking damage to foam in the car seats.
