Ahhhh. antiquated ideas. I'm in college getting my degree in business management with a 3. 68 accumulative GPA at a private Christian college. Europe seems to have it all figured out. Europe has a better health care and a more pay per hour work force. Plus they don't work 40 hours.
I live in Ohio and they already initiated 32 hour work week in SOME court houses.
The US government wants nonsmoker's (like me) to get more vacation time and more money per hour. This is what some Asian companies are now practicing. This is because people who smoke have a tendency to take longer and more breaks. In Ohio, smokers currently pay more money for health insurance already. Plus, Lincoln Electric in Ohio (I'm told) does not hire smokers and piss tests for it. I work for a company currently that assists in the assembly of engines for the Air Force which is regulated by the FAA. The FAA piss tests everyone who touches air plane parts to make sure no druggies touches airplane parts.
The world is changing everyday. Ford was the first to mass produce BUT they didn't invent the automobile. This belongs to Germany = Mercedes Benz. Ford has a class action lawsuit against them for their transmissions. Then, I am hearing that a braking issue has reared its head as well.
I live in the snow belt and domestic steel sucks as well. I have an f150 with brake caliper issues and a four wheel drive issue as well. And my mom owns an Equinox that has many issues as well. Both vehicles are rusted out that the vehicles should be scrapped. I cannot even get replacement parts for the Equinox (is fuel lines. But I own a Lexus and a Toyota (Highlander) and there is not much rust (similar years. I have more miles and less issues with my Lexus, Toyota and Kawasaki. Look at the majority of a medical staff. Honda, Toyotas and European automakers. You live and you learn. Aren't even most Americans buying Hyundai because of their 100, 00 mile warranty? Couldn't domestic vehicles do the same? No, because even they know the quality is NOT the same.
I live in the US and the workforce chores quantity over quality.

There was high turnover in workers because of long work hours and dangerous working conditions like in most corporations. The Homestead Strike ( Massacre ) of 1892 has changed labor's willingness to be treated like slaves. Ford had to raise pay to keep his workers. He didn't do it out of the goodness of his heart. He was a fascist like most of the rich and a supporter of Hitler. His factory in Germany built trucks for the Nazi military. he also sued the US government for bombing his German factory and won compensation.

Hello Scotty, I have a 2005 Grand Marquis GS. I replaced the Alternator on the car a few months back. Since I did that I get squealing noice when I start up the car. As it gets warmer the noise stops. I think it's either the New Alternator bearings making noise or my belt on this car. Any suggestions on what it could be and how to check if it's the new Alternator or belt, or the wheel bearing on the belt. Please reply to me with a answer and suggestions on to stop this squealing noise when I start the car. Please help me.

And Ford is continuing to break new ground right now. by putting in place more safeties and safe conditions. for employees during covid 19 pandemic. something that many other companies are looking at. but there are some serious issues for Ford. at the present and in the future. like the many many lawsuits that the company. has been and currently are and will be facing in the future. especially the CVT transmission issue. the company is going to take a really hard hit from that one. but we'll just have to wait and see.

Lately a study showed that about 3/5 CEO's in businesses are psychopaths.
There are fewer and fewer, and almost no more people like Henry Ford.
I've honestly never met anyone like Henry Ford to be honest.
Nowadays things usually just drop in quality, while price rises equally, and the worker is not valued one bit.
The only reason we're getting payed minimum wage is because of laws or we would be squeezed even harder.

Hey Scotty! Do you Know about the Vagabonds? Henry Ford & Thomas Edison started the RV Revolution with their Road Trips of Discovery. I think Firestone might have been involved. Edison & Ford lived next door to each other in Fort Myers, FL. It s still there. Hurricane took out 100 trees but recent renovations saved the homes. Edison s Lab survived also. He & Firestone worked to advance rubber technology there. OWLS Thnx! CJ

Ford got his interchangeable parts and assembly line idea from Eli Whitney - the madman from Westborough, Massachusetts who also invented the cotton gin and made slavery redundant.
In 1798 Eli Whitney built a firearms factory near New Haven in Connecticut. The muskets his workmen made by methods comparable to those of modern mass industrial production were the first to have standardized, interchangeable parts.

Scotty probably won t see this but if any other viewers can help me out, I wanna change the rear diff fluid in my 98 ram 1500 147k miles, I m pretty sure it s never been changed. I was wondering if I could just drain out the old fluid and refill it with the new stuff rather than taking off the rear 10 bolted plate and replacing the old gasket too. Any thoughts? Just some preventative maitenance
