Toyota Can t Sell Their New Cars, So You Can Get a Hell of a Deal Lagavulin16: Went car shopping at the Toyota dealer near me last month and it looked like an electronics store on black Friday. Wanted to buy a 2020 Corolla and I ended with the first 2021 they had sold, and one of the last of 3 corollas they had remaining. Used car lot is almost non existent there, and cars are selling quick. Even saw the sale of a new TRD Sequoia for around 80k haha.

Porsche is at least sixty years behind the times. And the sixties there were car rental places in Chicago that redhead sports cars muscle cars luxury cars by the day or the week. people that lived in the city and never own a car in their life go to one of those and come up to Michigan pretending to be a high roller from the city. All the local girls would swarm them thinking they had money. In reality they were poorer than us homeboys. Especially after they paid 700 a week for a shack on the lake that's the inside was never finished. No walls whatsoever.

What a terrible idea with a balloon payment. It locks you into the car because if you want out in 2 years you have the double whammy of massive depreciation (although Toyota's do better on that than many others) AND the fact you've built up little to no equity. At least with houses they should have appreciated over time on top of building equity. The advantage of a lease (as small as it is) is that at least it is a shorter fixed-term and you can't get upside down on it unless you blow through the allowable miles.

Those Jatco CVT transmissions are a ticking time bomb. I saw the disassembly on one that had failed and it was built to fail. One of the shafts had a sliding pulley that used a groove with ball bearings to ease the friction sliding in and out. No surprise that the groove flogged out and eventually jammed up or broke the ball bearings so it rotated and spat out the seal for the hydraulics and instant toast!

Porsche Drive sounds like a good deal to me. Instead of spending over 100k on a car, you instead rent it, say, for the month you are on vacation. When your month or three months are up, the vehicle goes back. Don't have to deal with maintenance, or depreciation, and the membership includes insurance. That sounds like a very fair deal and nice program to me.

Hello Scotty,
My parents just bought a brand new 2019 Mazda 3 made in Japan, with a manual transmission as almost all cars are like this here in Europe. It's got that mild hybrid system paired with a 2. 0L Skyactiv-G naturally aspirated engine. How reliable is the car? What should they watch for in the future?

I got a 1996 Bronco 5. 8L, a 2003 Toyota Sequoia SR5, and a 2009 Toyota Corolla. all paid off. all running great. never any issues. Plus I work on them myself lol oh btw I picked up my work van from Nissan and they charged the owner 45 in labor to replace the radiator cap. (insert Scotty s horse laugh picture.

Clint Eastwood was sued in California by a handicapped customer who claimed a restaurant he owned did not offer sufficient access for handicapped customers. He fought the case until it was finally dismissed by the court. When asked why he didn't just settle, he answered you only settle when you're wrong.

Worked with a retired Navy medic who bought a new Miata with a plastic rear window. He visited his brother in Maine during a very cold winter. He was showing brother how easy it was to lower and raise the top. You guessed it - the plastic rear window cracked while he was putting the top down!

Your most funny video yet! Best comedian in America. Nissan/Renault junk. One mysterious point. Here in uk mitsubishi has cvt in asx suv that i belive may be mk7 jatco but they seem very reliable how come? Or is it that the new asx engine is a normally aspirated 2. 0 petrol so no turbo?
