I absolutely despise what Honda is doing with their engines. The 2. 0T has about 126 horsepower per liter, mixed in with high-pressure technology. I'd estimate that these new Honda engines will see wear at like 80k-100k miles. Don't even get me started on how much wear the CVT's will see in the CR-V's with the equivalent over-stressed engines over a short period of time. Especially in a pretty heavy vehicle like that, that's a recipe for disaster. Honda used to be such a good car manufacturer, why did they ruin their reliability for a tiny bit more gas mileage?
A new Mazda CX-5 has about 75 horsepower per liter, and even if you opt for a turbo, that's still only about 90 horsepower per liter. The only high-pressure technology used in Mazdas as of right now are turbos. Everything else is technology Mazda has been making for years that has been almost perfected. And as a huge plus, they also don't use any CVT's in their vehicles. The normal 2. 5 liter engine in Mazdas has about the same horsepower and torque as the 1. 5 liter engine used in many Hondas, gets about the same gas mileage, and has about the same 0-60 time as well. I have test driven both cars and I can also assure you that the Mazda is much more quiet and comfortable than the Honda.
Toyota's 2. 5 liter has about 80 horsepower per liter, paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission. It is also more quiet and comfortable than the Honda, and will last much longer too, and on top of all that, it ALSO gets about the same gas mileage as the Honda.
As a result of Honda's recent decisions, I think Mazda should take second place, and have Honda in third, with Toyota staying number one.

I actually did see something online that you can get expensive exotic sports cars at auction at a deep discount in Middle East, can t remember if it is something religious or state law, but over there you have to pay off your loans/debts and if you don t you get thrown in jail, well every one tries to keep up with the Joneses and people overextended themselves financially, often thru buying expensive exotic sports cars, when they can t pay, they drive to the airport, buy one way ticket somewhere and flee the country leaving the cars at the airport, which then get towed and auctioned off to pay off the debt, there are often some minor repairs needed to those cars due to towing/transport and being exposed to sand storms but if you have the cash to splurge.

0: 26 - Enough said. If china is involved why would ANYONE want to buy one and support their economy. People power needs to start binding together and STOP buying products from china and treat and teach them an economic lesson. They don't hesitate to destroy economies of other countries, so it is about time that EVERYONE takes a stand about buying ANYTHING made in china.

Hi Scotty, I have 2016 Ford Fusion 2. 0L with approximately 43, 000 miles. I found a huge tree nut in the engine bay by the bottom of the fuse box and then noticed a few wires were torn, as if they were chewed. No noticeable problems with the car, however should I be concerned and if so what do I do? Thank you.

Scotty, my 2007 SAAB 9-3 2. 0t has a stability control failure light on.
It may be the Yaw sensor, or wiring harness, fuse is good.
i'll have to try removing the battery, having it charged and see.
paid 3, 000, put on 17k so far it's at 133k miles
Just looking for advice

Hey Scotty,
I took your advice and bought a black 2013 Camry SE with 108, 000 miles for 10, 000. Runs like a dream. I want to modify the car, but without ruining the driving experience. Its bone stock. Nothing extravagant, just something to make my car run better. Any suggestions?

Honda trying to get more HP out of a 4-banger because of an automatic transmission?
How about Americans not be such lazy drivers and learn how to use that third pedal and a stick?
And yeah, even the new Lambos and Ferraris have had automatic transmissions.

Tai Lopez: Here in the Hollywood Hills, in my garage is my Lamborghini. But what I find more important than a luxury car is NAW-LEDGE! That's what I have recently installed these seven shelves to store all my more than 3, 000 books. I read a book a day.
