Here s Why You Need to Buy This Honda Arjan: Yes my favorite car brand! I am looking for a 2012-2015 Honda civic hatchback. Sadly the sedan isnt sold in The Netherlands (I think it looks wayy better than the hatchback. I also want it with a manual transmission and with the 1. 8 engine. I could choose the 1. 4 but I think that engine is too small.

That exactly what I did when I bought my brand new Ford ecoboost 3 in line, in Europe. After 4 months of researching all brands I got to one several conclusions. Bmn, Mercedes, poop. Specially those 1. 5, 3in line gasoline engines from Bmn.
Vw group! Run like it's poison.
My 2 brands were psa (peugeot and citroen) new 1. 2 turbo 3 in line engine, that a mechanic that know, works in the brand told me the engine was too recent but no major problems, I remember scotty advise! So I decided to get a Ford ecoboost 3 in line that has been on the market since 2011 (my car is from 2018) and after researching on UK market that sells tons of ecoboost since 2011, I learned that all the major bugs had been hammered in. A lot of owners that change the oil regularly still have them, despite after 10 years or 120 000 km you need to change the rubber belt that is dipped in oil.
Great car, my Ford ecoboost, doesn't dri k oil and I change the oil every year or 10 000 km just like scotty says.

Scotty if your still taking questions I got one for you. I have two cars. a 2006 Subaru outback 2. 5i with 131k miles on it and a 2007 chevy impala ls with 130k miles on it. What is your opinion on those cars? Also I had the transmission fluid flushed in the subaru which helped it shift smoother when flooring it uphill. aamaco says though that the differential oil is lifetime and never needs changed. aka gear oil. Is this true? Also is it safe to use the new 88 gas in the subaru? As for the Impala, it shifts fine, but should i still have the transmission fluid changed at some point? And lastly, which fuel type will run better in the impala? E85 ethanol which it can use as it's a flex fuel car, or just plain gas? I lied I had a few questions, but I'm trying to really learn the basics about cars. So if you or anyone who's an experienced mechanic can shed some light on all this it would be much appreciated thanks!

Thank you Scotty my parents sent me to a training school for being a mechanic but I've never been attracted to cars but your videos have showed me how a person can be passionated about cars, and being honest about it, have awaken maybe not passion but more attraction to cars and being more careful about them, I just bought a used Honda accord with 250, 000, because of your advise and I've been looking to all of your videos thank you really, you have awakened some interest about cars and now I want to search for a job being a mechanich to really get to know them and know how to fix them thank you Scotty
(I'm mexican btw, so I would to ask you about convertible cars I feel really attracted to them so, what would be your advise)

FYI the oil dilution problems aren't a problem anymore if you don't gun it during the retarded valve period. The computer was software fixes to just have the engine be sluggish until it gets hot enough. The problem was in the pistons and rings and shafts having minuscule gaps because they were different temperatures. It generally happens only it cold areas, so let your car heat up, and the retarded valve period helps you do that.
He's right about the 2 litre Honda engine. It's bulletproof, the best they ever made. I have the 2. 0t, is has the retard software too, but ZERO dilution.

I have so much fun modding my 06 Honda Civic Ex, I wish it was the Si tho, but I still have fun adding stuff and working on it, never breaks down, always turns on, parts are cheap and they are fun to drive and mine even more because I put on some coilovers and lowered it a couple Inches! Honda civics are just on another level

Love my 2007 Civic Si, I've owned it for 5 years now. 2. 0 K20 motor, smooth as butter 6 speed manual, Limited slip diff, 4 wheel disc brakes, 197hp stock, very reliable and cheap to maintain. Stock clutch is a little on the weak side however and should be upgraded.

I have a 98 Honda Accord with the in-line 4 and the automatic transmission 190k I flushed my transmission fluid when I first bought the car bc it was shifting bad, cleaned out the shifter solenoids and shifts good as new. Shop said it was mechanical failure! bozos.

My 18 years old Honda Jazz/Fit, 1339L, 83 hp, has 240 000km/150 000miles on it and I can still put a 151 cm/5 feet tall refigerator and a standart size washing machine in it (with backseats down) and carry them all day long! ARIGATO HONDA!
