Who Makes the Best V8 Engine and Why Gorilla Baby: This man is a nut and he is absolutely wrong. The best bang for your buck is any Ford Mustang ever but really from 2010 to 2016 the best V8 made considering all variables is a Ford Mustang. Its not induced force and even the V6 is engineered to perfection, I personally know someone with a 2010 Mustang GT and we both agree that the V6 option is better than anything. Im actually excited to see how the new twin turbo 4 cylinder does in the newer Mustangs. All Im saying is yeah its fun to step on it once in a while like once a week or if u need to get out of someones way or hurry up and get somewhere so u dont miss an exit and people wont let u over but 95 percent of the time your hopefully driving around the speed limit and a good tough motor made by the best engineers in the field work at Ford Motor Company. The things I know about Ford trucks and cars and the wonderful things I have seen and heard about the vehicles Ford has made, they are perfect in all areas and I know because I have lived it. This guy on this video is a nice fella I guess but he is not telling us the real deal.

I noticed how he often stops and starts with new background scenery. Thats so awesome I think Id have to do that also to catch my breath and not laugh too much Question--maybe I can get answered from someone whos seen a bunch of radiators. Have you ever noticed a cold vehicle (no coolant warmth and sat off for 24-hrs or more) softly glub about 1/4 cup of radiator fluid about 1/2 second after started-up and then keep glubbing about 1/2 teaspoon every couple of seconds later? No air bubbles are present whatsoever. solely fluid and no air bubbles. Ive had a V-6 SUV do this since I got it 3 years and 25, 000 miles ago. I drive it in town and long interstate trips (2, 000 miles plus in Summer. No overheating but for some reason my overflow tank doesnt work (always shows full/never changes, and I do lose about 1 quart of coolant every 4-5 months from radiator. but it never shows in the overflow tank, as if it doesnt work at all. The overflow tank and hoses are tight and good. Thanks

I drive a 2007 Ford Crown Victoria on police intercepter with the 4. 6 V8, I currently have a 114, xxx on my engine and got her 3 years ago with 75, xxx. I have had zero issues whatsoever. all I know once I took her over I did flushes on all fluids and filter changes on all areas of filters such as fuel filter and etc. brand new performance coil packs and oem plugs. Change my oil and filter be every 4, 000 to 5, 000 miles with a motorcraft oil filter and 5w20 motorcraft oil. she runs like a champ. I keep logs and check all. Only issue I have is with traction on slippery surfaces being Im in Minnesota and its RWD. Its can be tricky in the snow surfaces and ice surfaces.

I have an 8. 1 in my 2001 Chevy Silverado 2500 HD with an Allison Transmission Ive been doing things to modify it I like a stick shift for my transmission from an Allisons to a stick shift the reason being Im an old truck driver and I love shifting gears which we all know things have changed even big trucks are automatics now but I think that would be a good thing Scotty tell me your thoughts and what you think from an automatic Allisons to a stick shift and what kind of stick shift should I go to I think I would be doing better with the stick shift with my V8 8. 1 and I would like to modify a little bit more I put a throttle body spacer on it whats your thoughts

Who needs 800hp? I do LOL All the engines mentioned are good durable platforms but you cant beat a Chevy for hp versus cost (and Im driving a blown 5. 0L Mustang. This is why you see LS swapped Fords, Dodges, Nissans, Toyotas and everything else under the sun. The old pushrod engine still has something to offer. Simplicity, cost, durability and power potential. I laugh when I hear people mention multivalve, overhead cam engines as modern. These have been around for about 100 years as well

The V8 engine these days is as good an engine as it can get. The dollar cost per horsepower is so cheap in a factory motor and additional horsepower mods are so readily available and inexpensive to achieve. The drivability of a v8 these days is excellent around town(not fuel wise. In reality with todays computers, fuel injection, economy has never been better in a v8 compared with the same power as something 20 or so years ago. The v8 is still a relevant and versatile power plant.

Because the hellcat engine has more power it is the better design? Come on, at least do some research about reliability, or cost. The ls series are the most commonly swapped modern engine for a reason. They are proven to be strong, cheap, and a great platform to build serious power. EVEN THE ZL1 CAMARO BEATS THE HELLCAT ON THE TRACK, pulls more gs on the skid pad, brakes better, handles better and the overall build quality is better. The corvette isnt even a comparison.

I used to think car with v8 and r400 horse are great until one day I was stuck in traffic and I was side by side with a superb sports car we were all going at the same speed and I suddenly realized in a city with bad traffic problems and a car with all that horse powers can no longer go faster than I am in the traffic unless its a open road I just need a car to go from point a to b thats all I needed

In 1953 my father owned a 1949 Ford coupe with 95 bhp. On a trip back from Spokane, Wa. we stopped in Cranbrook, B. C. whereupon my mother bought a newspaper and learned her father had died. My dad spooled that little V8 up to 90 mph for the next 5 hours to get back to Calgary. After 5 hours at 90 mph that little V8 never even heated up. Great little car, it even had a push button starter
