All due respect, when this crisis has passed, we really, really, really need to reassess, in a levelheaded manner, how we relate, as a culture, to obscene wealth, and the individuals (like Kylie Jenner) who hoard it. Too many people are suffering right now. Countless people who were fine 3 months ago are suddenly terrified about affording rent. Among other things. But not the billionaires. And they are now obligated to help- or they should be made to. They have way more than their fare share anyhow. We just have to. stop tolerating it. I'm sorry, I don't give a damn. People are dying. Brave healthcare workers are literally risking their lives to do their job. With the resources at her disposal, Kylie Jenner could profoundly affect positive change. She could help so many people, children, families, just by donating even 2% of her net worth. She'd still have more money left over than she could ever spend in 100 lifetimes, her wealth is so vast she wouldn't even notice it was gone. Instead though, she's tossing bread crumbs, and I find it astonishing. 1, 000, 000 is patronizing. I can't. wrap my head around it. Of course, 1, 000, 000 is a lot of money, and Jenner's donation will do a lot of good. And thank God for that. But it is still only a fraction of a fraction of a fraction of the good that COULD be done. This is the time for people to HELP. As much as they can. Not less than 1% as much as they can. I'm glad the dumbest joke I heard up to this was a client calling the tax office wanting to know where his stimulus money was because 4 people he knows got theirs today. It was passed a couple days ago, and it isn't expected to start going out until about April 17th. I am actually grateful that Trump started to understand just how bad this really is. I doubt he will ever consider his responsibility in the violent impact to people because he wanted to be racist rather than thinking. I won't say whether or not either side is telling the truth because I don't know, but when she waits to push this until Sanders was no longer able to hold his run thanks to Biden's popularity, it provides a possible motive to create problems to defame him. She didn't want to seek punishment or to challenge being called a liar. She was worried about being seen as a Russian supporter, her public image in regard to another country. That doesn't sound like someone coming forward with a claim. It sounds like misdirection to move away from the support claims by creating a cover where victim blaming can be used to sweep away anything being said she wants to go away while trying to get people to turn against him in a way that won't encourage as many people to delve deeper into the full story to find the holes in it. I guess for me, it just seems like the timing and end goals mentioned don't feel right, the caution lights are on and saying look closer because something is lurking under the surface that she wants to keep hidden.

I would say this Biden story is such a direct showing of Media hypocrisy and bias. Trumps allegations were different and mainly about the grab em comment so not talking about that in my comparison. But the Kavanagh smearing is such direct oooh I see how the media works here. Both very old allegations (though Kavs is way older and when a teen) with little to no evidence just the victims word. The media and celebrity damned Kav, was guilty until proven innocent, ignored the changes in the story etc. Biden story crickets. ItS rUsSiA, fake, burying the story, etc. I am not saying either happened or didn't happen because we do not know for a fact on both. BUT the way both were handled is very telling how the media is run. It is also a clear showing of the Biases MSM has. he'll even Fox News didn't talk about it. I think as Americans we need to call out this hypocrisy. I think the Kav situation was blown out of proportion and Biden is the opposite, what should happen is in between when these kind of allegations happen. FYI I do not have a dog in this race, didn't vote trump won't again but dislike Biden and Bernie so yeah.

Phil, your promotion of a video shitting on landlords is in really bad taste. Not every tenant has a bad landlord but every landlord has a bad tenant. Just sayin. Purchasing a home is the largest purchase someone can make. They put up a huge down payment, pay the mortgage, pay the property taxes, maintain the building, fix and renovate the place to give people a nice place to live. They do all this in exchange for rent. You dont go to a restaurant to eat dinner and then not expect to pay. You dont live in an apartment and then be surprised that the landlord wants to collect the rent. You pay rent in exchange for living in that home just like you pay for the use of every other thing that have. You think being a landlord isnt a job? Dont rent then. Go out and buy yourself a home. Its super easy right?

I think my main issue with Reade's accusation against Biden is, not the claim itself but what she stats she want's to happen. Reade stated that she didn't want to sue biden, but simply stated that she just wanted the accusations about her being a Russian asset to go away. Now to me, this is odd, mainly because it makes it seem like she's only interested in the claims made against her rather than making sure the person she accused can't do what they did to her, to any one else. I'll give her the benefit of the doubt for the time being. Though honestly, the fact that Fox News didn't even run with her story, when they've run with claims of rape/assault on a number of other democrats with even less credibility, kinda is a bit telling.

Some quick math; if we assume a quarter of the country is infected and a 2% death rate we get 1. 6 million deaths. That's a major oversimplification but just to provide a sense of scale. Everything depends on if we can contain the spread of the virus. If hospitalizations overload our hospitals' capacities, the death rate in the US will be high. If we can stop large spikes in cases, we can drastically reduce deaths. Germany has more hospital resources, beds and other necessities, per person than Italy or Spain, and the difference in fatality is clear.

The left is in shambles and are desperately trying to just get someone to defeat Trump and they ended up with Biden. Now this?
