Fake Activism & Clout Chasing EXPOSED, Blackout Tuesday Confusion, Lil Nas X, Lea Michele, & More Amarianee: I 100% side with the 2nd autopsy for the simple fact that it acknowledges the compression of the carotid artery as a major contributing factor. I can't speak to the substance portion of the first autopsy, but the underlying heart condition is a scapegoat. Anybody who has ever had pressure applied to their neck in the same spot knows exactly what happens. The Vulcan nerve pinch, is basically modeled after this. My brother nearly caused me to blackout when we were kids - not knowing the serious danger it posed. Applying pressure long enough WILL kill you, for the exact reason the second coroner said.

Four officers arrest a man, for whatever reason they take hin to the ground IN handcuffs, and while one stands another kneels on his neck, one on his back and another holding his legs. Not momentarily but for nine minutes up against a police car within which they could have secured him in the back at any point. During this time the man begged for his life, begged for air. they didn't flinch, they didn't hear it, they didn't care. The mans nose start bleeding, doesn't take a medical degree to know that is from excessive pressure being applied to his airway at this point OTHER people are begging for the mans life. they didn't flinch, they didn't hear it, they didn't care. The man stops responding and is lifeless, other people are hysterical. they didn't flinch, they didn't hear it, they didn't care. they then lied after the fact about what transpired, but other peoples cameras revealed the truth. It is the polices job to uphold the law, they are not above the law. Accountability matters. They effectively executed the man, knowing, intentionally and without remorse and an attemtp to cover up and lie about what they had done. Tell me what about Floyds death was not First Degree murder? They should all be up on charges facing first degree murder charges the same as ANY one of us would have been had the roles been reversed, being police officers should not get them special treatment a crime is a crime. The law either applies to everyone or noone there can be no middle ground or this sh will just keep happening exactly as it has been.

I worked as a security officer in the UK. Part of the basic training involved restraining techniques and how to safely restrain while avoiding positional asphyxia. We were taught to never apply such pressure to a persons neck or back on the ground and the potential harm that it could do including causing death. It was also highlighted that a person face down on the ground with someone kneeling on their back is likely to struggle as every time they exhale the pressure compresses the lungs more and this can lead to panic which can look like the person is resisting or trying to get free, when they are in fact simply struggling because they can't breathe. The natural, often involuntary response is to try to shake the weight off so they can take a breath. I was horrified to see a police officer doing this so casually. It was a police officer who taught me so I know it's a thing that UK police are aware of at least. I would expect lack of oxygen to the brain to be the main cause of death here and find it easier to believe that conclusion as it's the exact consequence that was described in my training and why we were taught to avoid putting pressure on the neck

Dont know the last time you wrestled or had someone give you a knee massage but: if you're laying on the floor and someone has their knee on your back putting pressure where your diaphragm and stomach is, it's causing stress to them. It's also causing stress to the lungs trying to get oxygen to them. One can still talk while this is happening, but if the pressure isn't released: less oxygen= lungs start to compress making the flow of air in and out more labored. and then less oxygen in the lungs means less oxygen reaches the heart and brain.
While, yes, having a knee on someone's neck is not good, the pressure on the back causing stress to the organs is what I feel is the main contributing factor to him not breathing.
Charge the guy who is pinning his back!

I called it. George Floyd died due to lack of blood flow to his brain. I saw it in the video, and I sent messages to multiple doctors in the media and Minneapolis to get their opinion on what I was seeing. A friend of mine who is a heart surgeon at Mayo Clinic in Rochester told me that he wasn't sure if a pinched off carotid artery would show up in an autopsy as anything other than some neck bruising. I was saying that when he was passing out at the end, he was in and out of consciousness a lot like an MMA fighter in a choke hold. It wasn't about just breathing. It was also that blood didn't get to his brain. He was likely dead within a minute after he passed out for the last time. Horrible.

No one want's to have this conversation but I don't think his death was correctly caused by strangulation. There have been 3 so far, all by really reputable coroners and it seems to me like it just kept going until the family could find someone who gave the findings they wanted. That will not look good in court, it will probably loose them the case. Legally it is an extremely weak case because it looks like evidence has been manipulated. I think there needs to be a shift to his plea's for help. A law enforcement officer is obliged to answer these requests, they are required to only use the knee choke for a certain amount of time. These are stronger arguments that everyone can agree on.

Not gonna get first degree without proof of premeditation. Maybe second but intent is really hard to prove. Did he intend to cause harm hell yeah. Did he intend to kill maybe but proving that beyond a reasonable doubt is the problem. 3rd degree is basically a guarantee at this point. If they pushed solely for 2nd degree or even 1st like the family wants then the cop could end up walking away scott free if found not guilty without proof of premeditation or intent. You wouldn't get a do over to then retry for 3rd due to double jeopardy law. 3rd might not be what people think he deserves but it is what he can be found guilty of easy enough.

For anyone who is confused about the cause of death, this was what Jiu Jitsu calls a blood choke. It has nothing to do with breathing, the blood flow is impeded and with enough pressure applied it can leave you unconscious in about 2 seconds. Knee on neck chokes are used in Jiu Jitsu, they are one of the most uncomfortable moves when done poorly and after enough repositioning they usually will find a spot that would create enough pressure to make the defender go unconscious. It s unlikely to cause signs of damage like the noose from the Epstein case, just some bruising at most. It s so ridiculous use this just to hold someone down.

Even IF both autopsies didn't show kneeling on his neck as his cause of death even If it Was his heart. He Told those officers he was in stress the bystanders told the officers he was in stress. There was no reason what so ever to treat him the way they did. Even IF he was resisting( He Barley resisted if he did at all. He definatly didn't deserve that treatment while cuffed) Even if he had beat the spit out of one of those officers he STILL wouldn't have deserved that once down and cuffed. With more then 4 officers on duty what were they waiting for more back Up!

As a respiratory therapist I felt that the pressure on back was a contributing factor. He was only able to take shallow breaths lowering total oxygen available. He wasn't able to get air to his alveoli for O2- CO2 transfer. The knee further inhibited oxygen getting to the brain. It does not take that long for a person to succumb. The fact that they continued after he went unconcious and further continued after the ambulance was on scene, only releasing pressure to roll him on the gurney is beyond comprehension.
