Arminius
Unfortunately the only thing that's left is the Hermann's Denkmal (Arminius statue. The story doesn't get taught anymore in schools. Germans are raised with guilt on their shoulders rather than a sense of fighting with unparalleled courage against tyranny. The New W--rld O--rder systematically wants to erase German culture and values. The people in Germany don't know it but they've been quietly invaded by a much more sneaky invading army. It may very well be too late to change the course of history as we know it, unbelievably tragic.

Romans were terrified of the German forests, the farther north from Italy they got. They also hated the cold. Eventually they could only march in practically single file due to the uncompromising terrain. This often made them vulnerable to ambush tactics. It's said that any mention of Germany on the Roman coins was just a token gesture, or rather something to hoodwink their own people with, into believing the place had been successfully conquered. Eventually it was, but not until i think, the late 2nd Century AD.

The armor seen here used by the Roman is not correct, this clip shows the lorica hamata (chain armor, while the reality is, starting from 9BC, the Roman legions were wearing the lorica segmentata, and since the Battle of the Teuteburg forest took place at 9AD; 18 years after shifting to the newer armor, so this information should-ve been noticed by the producers of this show

Germania lives on through it's sons and daughters. Even though my script is latin and a third of my language is Romance, English is still Germanic in structure. We settled Australia, America, Canada, and other lands. Arminius kept this alive. Nothing against Roma but let us keep our tongue and people alive

The actor that plays Arminius is amazing and I like him in many other series and movies but after seeing the Barbarians show on Netflix that portrays this particular event far better and more historically accurate I just can't get used to hear English accents in ancient people again

Germans eventually adopted greco roman culture as all of Europe did. But still it is sad they still speak a barbaric language, even though it-s heavily influenced by latin, it should have been entirely romanised. Then Europe would not be so divided as it is now.

So my life an legacy and the effect it had upon European history along with the Western worlds, is boiled down from 2, 000 years to only 5 min, even though it's why I'm writing this in english right now an not some romanced language, okay.

I guess his original name was, Segfried n the name of his father Segimer and his uncle Segestes, and the legend of Segfried might be based on his story killing the fire dragon (the long column of Roman army holding torches during the night)

4: 50 if -the end of Roman imperial expansion can be traced back with real validity to Arminius- that how is that the Roman empire reached it's largest point under Trajan 100 years after Arminius?

Varus trusted Arminius, even after the plan of betrayal and massacre was exposed. WHY? WHY? He should have doubted even just a little bit, and organized a back-up plan in case of attack.

So let-s forget about the victories of Germanicus and his expansion into germania, also the fact that had he stayed there a little longer, germania would have been fully conquered.

Why they talk about germans and Germany, its germania, germanics or simply their tribal names, it was a tribal culture back then and modern germans are not = germanics

Arminius backstabbed the Romans, that's the truth. The legions trusted him and went to Teutoburg on his advise, only to be betrayed and ambushed.
