Your content is spectacular, but it's becoming unwatchable due to the loud music, made worse by the constant LOUD QUIET LOUD QUIET LOUD QUIET from the low volume of the dialogue to ridiculous increase of volume of the music when these is no dialogue. It's been a problem for most of the videos, but lately seems the loudest yet. It's just not a learning environment. Why can't the music stay low in the background, instead of fluctuating the volume. Why does it even need music at all. isn't about the content? The loudness doesn't make the video more immersive. These days I literally have to think twice before watching your videos. I've seen the other that have mentioned this in the past, so I don't have hope that this will change. Let me give you an analogy: Your content is a wedding dress made for a princess, the music is a shit stain that runs the entire length of that stunning dress.

Bull roarers are still used- or where used until recently- by Australian Aboriginals. They are not ritualistic, they are used to call to people over long distances. a communication device, for when hunting, to tell people the prey has been caught, come here, or as a signal to gather. When used on top of a hill the sound from the Bull roarer could be heard for long distances. Different speeds of swinging create different sounds, these where used as a language, known to the people of a tribe.

Beautifully compiled and informative. The cave art fascinated me. Great to have a contextual description of the landscape of Doggerland - puts into perspective the findings in Britain of people living alongside waterways in houses on stilts (prior & during the bronze age) and obviously trading with & bringing back items from afar - indicating trade and travel took place primarily via waterways as far afield as Spain and clearly over to Denmark, southern Norway & Sweden too.

It always hits me right in the feels when I hear about ancient people burying their dogs with actual ceremony. especially right now, since I will have to bury a pet tomorrow (a gecko, though; not a dog. The hardest part of moving from my old house was saying good-bye to the animals we had buried in the backyard over the years. It's amazing how broad the human capacity for love and sense of family can be, and how far back in time that capacity developed.

Being a Hunter/Gatherer doesn't mean they did not harvest crops. We have evidence of bread over 14k yo. Rather it's as you said at first, there were only 600k Humans so plenty for everyone, pop increase and now, oops, where all the grain, maybe I need to hoard my own on this area of land for my family, now you are an agriculturist.

This is widely inaccurate and slightly misleading. For example cattle wasnt first domestic south, but East. And the first Scandinavians were more like the original Saami not Scandinavians Vikings, and the Viking long boat evolved from Phoenician boats not those dingys. Etc etc.

some constructive critique even though this clip is old. The sound levels on this are horrendous, between monologue and the transmission music. I have to constantly adjust the volume to hear you and to lower it to not wake to whole neighborhood lol. Great video though.
