There was a time when Germany didn't exist. Then suddenly it did. So how did the world's great powers react to this change? MB: Imagine if the year of three emperors had only been the year of two emperors? Friedrich III was very liberal and looked to his wife's(Queen Victoria+Prince Albert's oldest daugter) family for inspiration on how to form the German constitutional monarchy. His son Willy II hated the British as a British surgeon had mangled the nerves in his left arm ruining his internet alone time for the rest of his life. Willy's resentment of the British starting in 1888 caused him to build his navy to oppose all things British. If Fred III had lived for another 20 years he could have voluntarily given up the power that corrupted Willy II before Willy II became a war monger(in regards to WW1. Imagine how different the world would be? The EU easily could have been formed in the early 1900s, and by now all of Europe, North and South America could be united.

GroBdeutschland, German Empire lol was Poland. No matter german atrocities, expulsions, genocide, discrimination of every evil kind, imprisoning Polish People for speaking Polish, punishing Polish children, deliberate Mass immigration of German peasants from West germany, changing colors on maps, redrawing borders on paper =
Polish People refused to leave their ancestral homelands, It was their land Poland.
No German thief was going to hold on to it.
Even after murders and expulsions, land grabs and land banking, in 1920, 70% to 85% of the population East of the Oder River was Polish People.
If there ever was a fighting, spit in your foreign faces, never give up spirit, reclaim what justly belongs to them -
it was the Polish People in their own land = Poland.

Germany has never been unified since the early middle ages. In 1871 they called the new German Reich Klein Deutschland because it excluded all the Swiss and Austrian provinces (in other words, including the part of current day Italy, Czech Republic and Hungary that used to be or still are German speaking.

1: 55 because as we know absolutist conservatives never go to war with each other,
Since they are absolutely never jingoist, their leaders can never do reckless things unimpeded,
And most importantly being conservatives means you're never paranoid in any shape or form.

Every time he mentions Britain he shows a photo of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland.
Ireland never wanted to be part of the United Kingdom and certainly was never part of Britain which of course is an island. Can easily tell he is an ignorant English guy.

Something people forget: there were more than 40 years of peace between the major European countries (1871-1914) something extraordinary in European history. A whole generation didn't went to war. The first generation not affected by war in a long, long time.
