I dont think vlad was a cool person. He killed and tortured many innocent children, women and men for his own desires. And he got the throne because of ottomans. Then later he barked to the ottomans while relying on hungarians. Then later he sent a letter to ottomans he was offering to attack hungary together, fortunately that letter captured by hungarians and they jailed vlad. He is just a backstabber bloody killer rather than a hero.

I can't understand why anyone would spend so much time creating a wonderful video like this but not take three minutes to understand how to pronounce the names of the cities. And to not know how to pronounce Pope Pius is ridiculous. I couldn't even enjoy the video because the butchering of pronunciation was too distracting. And it's insane that the narrator doesn't even pronounce Vlad's name properly. Vlad doesn't rhyme with glad FYI.

I have been living in Romania for the past two years. I have become OBSESSED with the true story of Vlad Tepes. I believe he was one of the most interesting humans to walk this earth. It is a shame, that he is tied to the history of Dracula which has nothing to do with the actual story.

Why do you chose to commemorate places of such dar, knees! Raze them in honor of the true God! Reuse not one brick. Any pilfered item null. Cleanse these and abolish any foolish order of the dragon. Rebuild it in grandeur to honor GOD

I don't like how one-sided history can be. Vlad is always depicted as this bloodthirsty monster who would impale people for no reason. That's why I'm glad videos like this exist that gives context to why rulers did what they did.

Not sure why he was villanized. He was a war hero and fought off the ottomans better than most. And impaling was not cruel in those days, there were worse ways to be put to death
